So I got the Mass Effect trilogy on PS3 today and I had started ME 1.  I don't know if anyone else has had this problem but I noticed that there are some serious problems with the audio sync during cutscenes.  And there are also parts where a character will say something, then will say it again even though their mouths aren't moving.

I haven't seen any issues either. Download version as well.

Haven't run into a single bug or glitch in 4 hours. It runs smoother than the Xbox version and looks better to boot. Definitely a top notch port, color me surprised.

(Downloaded version here too)

I've gotten a ton of glitches, the best being the room with the doctor with her colleague that's gone crazy at the docks on Eden prime. She was just a floating head. The other guy all crazy talk and this disembodied head is apologizing for him. And yes, I punched his crazy face.

Haven't run into that. One line per each cutscene seems to be off for me but the rest of the scene plays fine. Running it off the disc version.

I had some closed captioning come up even though I didn't have it turned on. When I was first flying into the citadel. Anytime people were talking and the camera was on anything outside of the Normandy it would come up. When it switched back to inside, it was gone. My voice synch is fine and I had a loading problem. Other than that, smooth sailing

Which version are you playing? The trilogy disc or the downloaded version?

I mean I think it looks amazing on the PS3, I was just wondering if anybody else has run into any trouble with it. I definitely feel like they have been taking a lot of things out over the course of the ME games now that I have started playing the first one.

I got the PSN version and yeah I get the occasional audio glitch. Nothing I consider game breaking though. The other two games had the same thing.

It's not really a glitch, but this seems better than making a new thread. There is some SERIOUS sound balance issue with the game, and I'm not sure how to fix it. ME3 had this "dynamic range" setting that was a one-click fix, and ME2 might've as well (can't remember). But I see nothing like that here for ME1, so I'm not sure how to fix it. Everything comes through fine, but the volume levels vary WILDLY, even within the same scene. In the intro, I could barely hear Anderson, but it freaking *blasted* Joker messaging him over the intercom.

Yeah I got the same thing as well.  It made no sense to me whatsoever.

I have the disc version.

In some cutscenes I either get no sound at parts or no subtitles at parts. I have some hearing so I know where no sound is but not enough to understand so i need the subtitles.

Also I'm reinstalling the game data as I keep crashing on Feros as I head to the tower for the first time but before I talk to the group underground. Every time it tells me to reinstall the game data (this is the first time I've reinstalled it), it saids corrupted data.

I do like the larger subtitles though (have it on PC), and the print is really small on that even though my computer screen is only 3 inches smaller then my TV.

Also I have to say it looks better on my TV then PC.

I just finished reinstallng the game and it crashed at the same place with same error. If it doesn't work I'll just move on to Mass Effect 2 and see if a patch will fix it.

Wow, the game hasn't even been out a full week yet and there are already vast amounts of bugs with the game. That is what I am understanding.

Your understanding is flawed, then, because all I'm seeing is one person with a problem that sounds like a PS3 issue rather than a game issue, and a bunch of people saying "I haven't encountered any bugs at all".

If your message was intended to elicit technical type replies here, you are off topic.  That would be what was formerly dealt with in either the Self-Help tech forums, or the official support at EA Help.  The forums have been closed.  Answers HQ replaced them.

I have no dialogue sound at all in all cutscenes. Sound effects and music work and dialogue works when it's joker over the com or someone just says something without going into the dialogue screen. Halfway through Eden Prime and still no sound, have tried restarting and nothing. This is quite frustrating. And I have the PSN version.

And Bioware isn't going to hire you no matter how many of these armchair moderator posts you make.  Sheesh.

Unless there have been huge changes to things after EA took over, Moderating  is / was always a voluntary  position.
