ok so ive been thinking alot about ME3 and why i personaly dont like the ending. ive come to the conclution that its ecause theres no closure for me and, as bioware said, the 4th game will not take place with shepard so i feel his/her ending needs to be closed better. now i dont know if everyone feels this way but i do. iv also been thinking of some ways to solve this through a DLC and it would be somthing like this:

for controling the reapers: what did shepard do with them? did he/she help the galaxy as a whole or did she/he advance humanity further like the illusive man wanted or did he/she just sent them back to darkspace? this could be a paragon/renegade check to see how the player had been acting through all three games so it seems like those choices matter more or it could me one final choice to deside the fate of the entire galaxy.

for synthisis: did shepard's actions really bring peace? or, with all he/she did, did the galaxy still fight? this could be how much the player tryed to help the galaxy instead of themselves or humanity or it could be just a defenate this happend just to give the player closure.

for destruction: ok before i go into this one i have to say its going to be the longest because this is the one bioware left fro debate (a.k.a did the "last breath" mean somthing) this is also the ending i gave the most though into because so much more could be done with it and before anyone continues yes this will be my version of the "happy ending" choice because i feel the player should have the option. so as we all know if you have a good enough military strength shepard is see at the very end with one last breath and this is where my part starts. since (if she didnt die ith ME2) miranda is still alive i think the data from prject lazerus could come back into effect because shepard was in much worse shape before and he/she was brough back to life. then there could be a few endings i have in mind:

if not in a relationship: shepard wakes up in a med bay on earth some time laterhe is greeted by admiral hackett who, after debrifing shepard of what happend after the battle and where the galaxy is now, promote shepard to admiral(because lets face it its about time he/she gets a promotion) and furthermore suggest him to be the new human cousalor. this could be where the player has a choice to accept or decine the offer. in th end shepard could live to old age, making many more acoplishments along the way. he/she then retires to earth knowing they made a diffrence.

if in a relationship: same begining but when hackett offers the promotion and additional choice happens where the player can decline. if accepted the prosses continues as above, but if declined shepard gos looking for the love intrest the player chose for this game. what happens next depens on the love intrest (im not going to make the conversations because everything i thought of turned out very corny or very mean but bioware has a nack for making good romance conversations so i trust them)

tali: shepard finds her on rannoch right where she claimed a house. after a talk (in which tali has her helmet off becuse bioware tease fans enough with the picture) shepard has a choice to either stay with tali or go back to earth (see retirment plan) if they chose stay shepard lives happaly with tali

garrus: shepard find him in a bar an plaven (after asking around alot) after a conversation garrus anouces plans to rejoin c-sec again because its alot "quieter" than taking on an army bent on harvesting all organic life. he invites shepard to join him on the citadel. thus again comes the choice go with him or not. if yes they live happily on the citadel.

liara: you find her on thessia in a museim the errected for the war. after a conversation (where liara tells you about her book if the player has the from ashes DLC) she says theres noone shed rather be with but shepard and asks if shepard will stay with her on thessia. again the choice. yes then happy life with liara

kiden/ashley: either comes to visit shepard after hackett leaves. another conversation and they ask if shepard will stay on earth or if he/she is going to 'save the galaxy again" if the player says they will stay then they ask if shepard will stay with them. the final choice yes or no. yes shepard and kiden/ashley live on earth retired.

those are the only relationships i know so feel free to add. that is my take on how the ending should have happened. another DLC i had is a relationships pack where it gos more indepth with the relationships. you could take your relationship on a date (liara could go to a museum on the citidel, tali could go to a movie, garrus a bar ect) i only suggest this because another appeling part of these games is the relation ship aspects.

and finaly my thoughs on ME4 i'd rather see a sequil but a prequil wouldnt ruin it. my main thought is you should be able to play any any race and not be resticted to one. it would be nice to see the same game fron the veiw of all species, and please dont takeout any of the custimazation options because its fun running around as some you want to look like.

those are my thoughts and ideas. if enough pleople like them then maybe bioware will make them into a reality. i hope my ideas appel to the majority of all you mass effect fans. and please excuse the spelling i am horrid at spelling

He has a very good point. The game was left with a lot of questions. And I would love to see them answered in the form of a good DLC which effectively closes the story on Shepard. And makes it possible to make ME4 without all the confused fans. If bioware came out with a "closure" DLC many players would buy this I know I would. Who doesn't like a little closure in a game.
