Let's discuss optimal Rogue builds. I was too eager to start playing and I didn't really have a chance to go over all the details of character progression.
Where do you guys spend skill and attribute points? Which talents do you take and why? Discuss.

I will only comment on an archer build with rogue.
after some testing, rapid shot was by far the best thing u can get from the start, i do pick it regardless of build, as PC u have quite some talent points so it really isnt that difficult to get all what u need, the question is in what order.
Shatter shot is quite amazing, alot better than i imagined, other than stun tons of target it also deals damage to them. which instantly match the damage out put of Arrow of Slaying (which is really strong garantee crit against single target). so if u are looking for some AOE dmg, that is the thing to aim for.
Melee archer is something u do have to pick regardless in order to get in the end for master archer. although it is not needed in any way unless u run with 1 melee + 3 ranged. even then i hardly ever get agro. since mages are such agro machine for some reasons.
To focus on single target dps 2nd branch is the obvious choice, and get master archer afterwards for synergy, also this build has strong synergy with a 2 mage shatter build. using morrigan cone of cold for cc, and wynne stone fist + critical shot + arrow of slaying, u instantly half the size of ur enemies, within 10 seconds u can repeat the combo again to finish the job, this has been extreemly effective so far on hard difficulty for me. (only cleared redcliff/circle tower/brecilian though).
atm at lvl 12 i have 4/4 4/4 1/4 in archer tree, 1/4 0/4 4/4 1/4 in rogue tree. Next focus will be either getting lethality or shattershots or captivating song. main stats focus is dex then will then cunning then str.
PS: who ever said it was possible to backstab with bows is biggest ass ever, it doesnt bloody work
