Couldnt careless what they talk about as iv'e learned from pre release jargon regarding ME3 hence why didnt get Omega( biggest dlc to date and very strong, yet can be done in 2hrs30mins of which pew pew shooting dominates)

Considering ME3 had all the writers involved and i thought it was crap way before the ending then having that many writers for a dlc means nothing to me........leave the twitter crap alone, stop giving false hope and misguided info and lock yourselves in a room and only come out when the dlc is epic like dragonborn.

It's an IT expansion that will cost $40, rejoice.

I wouldn´t even be mad if it was that...

Just need something to pull me back into Mass Effect

They seem to be putting a lot of resources/manpower into this one. Regardless if its end related, ties into the main narrative, or is simply a side story, I'm optimistic about this one.

"Unusually, the as-yet untitled DLC will feature an eight-person writing team. This includes core members of the Mass Effect 3 staff such as lead writer Mac Walters."

lol

Oh god. This is not going to end well.

well .. i only read .. piano music, tears, mac walters and lead writer ...

and suddenly, shepards life flashed before my eyes - thats probably not a good sign ...

maybe they found some lore, that is intact and in hiding and now they want to finsh the job.

at least the music will be good but damn ... i hope the guy slicing onions next to me is in included. i am not going to pay extra for it.

well .. lets not hype it ... wait and see.

Then sign me up right now.

What I don't get about game journalists is that they often use BSN and twitter as their only sources. So where are the news? Don't they get information from Bioware or don't they ask? I mean, there is absolutely no more information in these "articles" than on this forum. What about an old-schooled interview of a person involved to research some actual new information?

Yeah but in this day and age  rumors pass for journalism, and many people don't want t lurk on forums to hunt down information when it can be collected and listed in one place or article.

Being here on BSN we might sometimes forget that we are more on the "pulse" of gaming culture than many.

Bioware, So you want a lot of fans to be excited about this already huh? I would be careful because if you get fans hopes up again and then let them down, a lot of them might never trust your company again. But I could be wrong.

I wonder if they will add some exposition after the ending in...

If you had control or synthesis they search earth, but find nothing but some dog tags. Of you chose destroy however, they find you, alive, but barely, and give your squad mates a final send-off before you croak..

It's probably for the best that we don't assume they are making any changes to the ending. I'd rather be incredibly surprised then let down again.

The only reason to be concerned is if Mac was the only writer on the DLC. Everyone is in on this, so I have high hopes for the quality of writing.

I don't have high hopes that this will change the endings, however. Speculation otherwise is setting oneself up for disappointment until we get more info. Let's try and enjoy this DLC for whatever it will turn out to be. (unless it turns out to be crap on its own merits)

Agreed.
