I'm having trouble deciding on who to bring to Landsmeet with me.  Wynne I think a must for heal, Sten I guess I will need, who else would you suggest?

The only group fight at the Landsmeet is if Ser Cauthrien is still alive, and you can't/don't want to talk your way past her. Other than that, it's just mano-a-mano with Loghain. He's pretty easy.

Take Dog, and you get some funny dialogue if you attempt to name him as your champion.

Unless you're planning on losing the Landsmeet vote or on fighting all of Loghain's goons, it doesn't much matter.



Alistair tends to say too much. I'd pick for amusement value. Sten, Dog and Oghren strike me a s a funny grouping.



If you do plan to lose the vote, bring your A-team.

You have to take Alistair to the landsmeet, the game locks him in your party.



I would take two other characters that fill out the party. There is no dialog for other party members (except if they're chosen champion to fight Loghain), so its just about who will help you in the fight with Ser Cauthrien, and who you might want with you to fight Loghain, either as your champion if you want one, or the group fight if you choose that option.

Then Allstair, wynne, sten and Lieanna to unlock stuff. I want to win the game and marry Allstair. I have a I think high enough cor. I'll have sten fight Loghain and I have tons of greater heal potions. not sure if I'm forgetting anything before I go in???

I took Morrigan and Wynne with me. Loghain didn't even get a lick in on Morrigan the first time I played. I just did this last night and I took him down. The dog....I'll have to try that and see what happens. Loghain beaten by a dog, too funny.

I usually bring Morrigan and Leliana with me (just to make sure when I can't bully / persuade ser Cauthrien around). I actually managed to bully her to move aside and let me through. For fun against Loghain you way want to consider others (although Morrigan can take care of Loghain just as fine though). I usually beat him up myself.

The first time through, I let Alistair fight Loghain. I figured he'd want to do it. The second time, I did it myself so I could get the additional dialogue. In future, I'll probably use Alistair. It makes sense to me that he'd insist.

Morrgian is always usually in my party due to her spells. She can heal and also her "Ice Freeze"/"Mind Blast" spells are a life saver.

I would also bring Shale for being a pretty good tank he has some decent ablitys to go with that.

That leaves one other option for the lands meet. I brought Leina with me, however I already knew the drill so I wasn't expecting a riot fight. If you are I'd bring the spirt Healer.

If you have enough persuade skill and you unlocked the people at the bottom of the dungeon when you rescused the queen. You can convince the lady who confronts you when you enter the lands meet to step down. She's a rather tough elite.

Because they didn't rewrite that section when they added Shale back in.  Shale also can't rescue you from Fort Drakon.

If you choose to lose the vote, but if you do have some votes, they will fight at your site. Else there is the duel. I had a hard time hitting Loghain on Alistair, kept getting miss, but I had helling potion so I won, lol. Kind of meant that it was Alistair's moment.

Other then that there is not much. The hall way before the landsmeet is just a hall way, no doors or chests, so you won't need to lockpick.



I brought, me, Alistair, Wyene, and Morrgian. Always been my team =)

The reason why I was thinking to bring Lianna is because I want most votes, and I heard I'll be arrested and need someone to unlock the door to get me out. This is why I'm going to bring her so she can help me escape. If I don't need her for that I would bring morrigan, allistair, Wynne and Sten. I think Sten as a tank can kill Loghain best. I read if I or Allistair fights him I won't get the option to marry him. It's all confusing to me.

I need Li, to set me free when I'm arrested and to free prisoners. Also If I or Allistair fights Loghain then I won't have the option to marry Allistair this is why I will have sten fight Loghain because frankly I haven't used Morriagan much during the game. I didn't need her with my powerful blows and wynne healing us.

You can choose to pick a fight in the landsmeet and do the duel both. The duel comes up to settle the issue anyway. Sometimes I go for the massive brawl just for extra pts.

My warrior party always consits of Wynn, Leli, & Allistair except for the high dragon & Flemeth, then I use Sten instead of Leli. For my rogue party I replace Leli with Morrigan. For my Mage party, for some reason I don't remember.

I may be late to the party but Allister is the only one you need if you load his stats correct, str.28,dex.23,will.32,mag.14,cunn.18,const.24, and complet his warrior talents. he can stand his ground pretty good.
