Hey, so I heard that editing the coalsnd(sp?) could get you Legion early. However, doing so, I noticed something somewhat troubling. It immediately sets conversation with Legion to just before his loyalty mission. That said, conversations with every other character goes straight to them having nothing left to say.
I'm still in the beginning of the game, so I haven't even done their loyalties yet. What I wanted to know is how do I remove Legion from my roster, and essentially put things back to normal, using the coalsnd, again.
Thanks in advance.

Use the Gibbed Save Editor. Heaps easier.

And do what exactly? Just turn off Legion, from the roster?

Pretty much, yeah. Check a box in the save editor, save it and start the game, and when you load what you just saved in the editor Legion (or whoever) is in your squad whether you've done the mission where you meet him or not. Check a different one and repeat the process and Legion's now loyal. Uncheck them both, save once more and reload the save and he's gone again, though interestingly it seems possible to have a loyal Legion that you've never met yet. You shouldn't have to restart ME2 each time you do this. I start the game once and leave it in the main menu screen, ALT+TAB back to the desktop and open Gibbed, then make and save the changes I want there (I just choose the next consecutive save number so the original made by the game is always there) before ALT+TABing back into ME2 main menu and going for the load option rather than resume. If I checked something I didn't mean to or didn't check something I should have I just go back to the main menu screen without saving and then ALT+TAB back to Gibbed again.

I reinstalled the game, and Legion is still there. He's even still there, despite removing him in the save editor. The issues with my crew still having no more dialogue, is also continuing too.

By reinstall I presume you just mean reload, but maybe you need to undo what you did in the file you edited first. That's just a guess as I only use the save editor and have had no problems.
