- Morrigan will return in Flemeth-Horcrux Mode voiced simultaneously by Claudia Black and Kate Mulgrew, because Flemeth feels that direct intervention is necessary.
- The Arishok will be reanimated as a smart, thinking, Disciple-style Ogre (because the Qunari waste nothing) but demoted to the rank of Sten - character name confusions will abound.
- Warden & Hawke will return in the bodies of Dragons but with appearances reminiscent of their iconic looks. For example, Dragon Hawke's left shoulder will have several prominent spikes and will be fan-nicknamed "Spike".
- King Alistair will break apart from the Orlesian Chantry and declare himself the head of the Chantry of Ferelden, because he wishes to divorce his wife (who is Anora and/or a Dragon) and the Chantry condemns divorce.
- Sandal will be glowing and telling the Inquisitor that "I control the Darkspawn" and that "the Blight is my solution to the Mage-Templar problem".
- Merrill will be possessed by Justice and become a chief mastermind of the Mage Rebellion. She will say things like "I will burn you alive... WITH MY MIND".
