It works on and off host, but 50% alone is not a very big number considering that all DR is only 75% as effective as the listed numbers, which includes these. It's really 37.5%.

Batarian Vanguard can go immune to damage though, which he could not do without Biotic Charge's DR.

I considered it full damage immunity since sync kills aren't really damage as much as they're just auto kills. I should probably leave a note about that, though.


PC? Because I played novaguard ALOT during the demo/early N7 0~2k times. I have NEVER seen anything that resembles damage reduction or anythin even hinting in the direction. (even if it was, I'd bet a couple fingers and a few toes it wasn't 4 seconds long) I've actually had more instances I can remeber where biotic charge didn't recharge my shields, or I've been instakilled while in mid teleport or something else rediculous. But on xbox, if there is "soppose" to be a damage reduction, its not there. Even on krogaurd without a barrier, (yea I've tryed with carnage >.>) there has never been anything hinting at DR.

Not trying to call you out on a lie or anything btw Cyonan, *really respect you and peddroz work* just saying that if there is a DR, scratch out another line on the "bugged shyt" belt and may as well have bioware open up those closed down "PC master race" threads cause thats some wtf ness.

Inmunity in general only means inmune to damage, force (the easiest test is to nova into a brute, you will get interrupted) and grabs will work normally.

For the DR thing, remember that effective DR is about the 70% of the listed DR. You can prove it easily with a batarian brawler specced with armour blade DR. Charge and initate a heavy melee, no enemy attack will drop your shield.

Just a quick question: ballistic blade innate force is 800N, do you think it can be raised by the passives? Because I had very hard times trying to stagger phantom right in front of me on gold with it. That would explain why.

Also, supply pylon has an explosion damage? wow :P

Nice, let me throw in some remarks and open questions I have:

Marksman:
Kicks in once the weapon trigger is pulled anew. Does not buff RoF while actually firing. The RoF buff is carried over as long as the weapon has ammo, even if Marksman expires. (Forum says) I wonder how it interacts with Thermal Ammo pack. Need to test this.

Shockwave:
It goes where the character looks to. It is not a targetted power. Is it effective if aimed upwards / downwards? Can it go through walls / half cover / crates?

Smash
Does not work on targets at a different height. Travels 8 (?) meters even through any obstacles (bar enemies). Swarmers supposed to take the hit and may block smash to reach the desired target. Smash can only affect 2-3 (?) targets.

Sabotage
Does damage to any enemy, regardless what weapon they might hold or not.

Nova
Does it travel through obstacles?

Stasis
Does not work on armoured targets. Can't say that often enough.

Maybe you coud add Volus Melee.
For example cloak duration and cooldown.
DR for the bubble.

Does that bubble protect form beeing sync-killed? Can a Volus even been sync-killed?

No and yes.

Still, some sync kills with the volus seem bugged, I once got sync-killed by a praetorian and respawned.

Ugh. Maybe instead of whining and getting worked up over nothing, you could do a very simple test.

-Start a game on silver/geth. Leave one rocket trooper alive on wave 1.
-Get shot by the rocket without using BC beforehand.
-Then get shot by the rocket after using biotic charge (make sure it's in the 4 second DR window).
-Compare damage taken and find out that DR works just fine.

Energy drain can only detonate on targets with shields, barriers or are synthetics.

according to coalesced, stasis does 25 damage and has a 'healthdamagethreshhold' of 150.

I suppose that means that the stasis breaks once you've done 150 points of damage to health. Seems true. Damage to shields and barriers seems to have no effect.

Extremely imprtant! Cryo Blast can only cause Cryo Explosions on frozen solid targets, while Snap Freeze can cause Cryo Explosions on ANY targets. Very fun with 3-chain Overload.

Perhaps list how to prime explosions and how to cause detonations. Energy Drain and Snap Freeze are very glitchy, for example, and should be explained further.

OH OH Also, Fire Explosions caused by Snap Freeze create a VISUAL bug where see the fire explosion on yourself instead of the enemy. It is only an illusion, and will still explode on the target normally.

Seriously? If thats true then its an extremely misleading decrption in game, I will have to try my drell adept with this choice now. 

Overload
Deals 50% damage to organic health/armour(This penality if removed if you have the Neural Shock evolution)
Neural Shock adds 300% damage to organic shields/barriers(This effectively is 1 free hit, due to the modifiers it naturally gets)


Again this is a strangely hidden factor if true, I always chose recharge speed but I will definitely try neural shock now.
