Also, while a bit OT, since the op mentioned this, I'd just like to point out that the only more or less confirmed bisexual character in DA2 was Isabela, and that was not made for the sake of the player or Hawke, but it was part of her character. The other LIs were all either straight or gay depending on which gender you played as. Or perhaps hawkesexual. Perhaps pansexual. They could have been anything and you wouldn't know because they never explicitly stated it. Could this issue just be buried already? Why are people so keen on blaming everyone in DA2 as being bisexuals when they clearly are not?

Something completely new and refreshing thanks (perhaps a dwarf this time, pretty please?). I'm not really picky at all with romances when it comes to female characters.

Why are people so keen on acting like being bisexual is something bad?

I suppose I should have clarified myself on that one. I do not find anything bad in being a bisexual. And why would I, being one myself. Which is partly why I get my knickers in a twist when people go around shouting ALL LI WERE BISEXUALS IN DRAGON AGE 2 BOO HOO BIOWARE HURT US WHY WOULD THEY.
It's merely the fanbase that seems to be crying about the evil and bad bisexuals who were put into the game to pollute the minds of everyone, when it's actually not the case at all. When people go around crying about this, not only do they completely disregard the characters themselves, but they also give bisexuals a "bad name" so to speak.
Being a bisexual is not bad, but going around shouting someone is something they are not, is.
Anyway, to not make this completely ot, I would also like to add that I would like an LI that at the end of the romance turns out to be.... Flemeth.

Isn't this what the M/F romance thread is for...?
Even though we respect other people's sexuality, real straight men pefer the close relationship of a women.
Morrigan was rough and exciting.
Leliana was sweet, innocent, and romantic.
I like them both.

But it is the LI's sexuality we are talking about here. The romance don't get less heterosexual just because the LI might have chosen another gender if they had fallen in love with another than the PC.

Yes, it is. There is a M/F tread. There is no reason that a straight male pc should have a problem having a straight romance with a bisexual unless he is somehow insecure by the competetion. This tread really doesn't make sense.

When a female and male are engaged in a courting ritual, the sole intent of the exchange is for procreation. Within a straight male and female relationship, the interaction between the two is different than you will find in a bisexual one.esper wrote...

Unless two females or two males can reproduce, I see a major flaw in your overall approach.
Straight human beings interact for the sake of shelter (safety), reproduction (longevity of DNA), and food (survivability).
Two males cannot biologically create a child.
Two femals cannot biologically create a child.

But, it is a male and female interacting in flirting. Just because the (in this case female) might also be interested in the other gender it doesn't suddenly change the gender of the person they are interested in.
What you are saying is that your romance with Leliana was less straight than your romance with Morrigan because Leliana might have slept with Majorline in the past.

I was under the impression that many heterosexual couples don't want babies at all.

Second, when a female is a bisexual, her mentality if very-very different than a straight female.

Majority of the hetrosexual population wants their DNA lingeage to exist into the future. As a result of popular cultural changes (divorces, careers, feminism, etc...), the hetrosexual population is prolonging when they have children. Since 50% of the female population are waiting too long for family building (past their early thirties), they end up putting themselves at risk over not being able to have children.

How? Seriously, how?
Let's take Leliana, how did her bisexuality infer with her way of courting the male warden.
How did Merrill's equal like for femHawke affect her way of flirting with Male Hawke?
I have yet to see your argument make any sense. So far you come off as saying, in between the lines, that your male pc would feel insecure by dating someone who might also find women attractive.

She was written by a straight male perspective, which was geared towards breaking taboo sexual steriotypes. If the character was written by a bisexual female, you would have seen something very different.esper wrote...
