I got ME1 on my PS3, downloaded it and it keeps crashing.
I cannot play the game for more than a few minutes before my playstation shuts down.
Am I the only one with this problem and can it be fixed?

Hi everybody,
I got ME1 on my PS3, downloaded it and it keeps crashing.
I cannot play the game for more than a few minutes before my playstation shuts down.
Am I the only one with this problem and can it be fixed?

What happens when it crashes? Does the screen freeze in place locking the console or does your PS3 turn off by itself?

That probably means you're close to getting a yellow light of death. When your console dies, you can either fix it yourself or buy a new one.

It would do that during the customization process, with the adept chosen. I thought maybe the fiery FX around the character was making the bug so I took a soldier instead and It didn't crash. But minutes in the game and it crashed again.

The game probably has nothing to do with the crashing. How old is your PS3 and what model is it? If you're about to get a YLOD then you should consider backing up all your saves.

My game kept crashing too. A few times when I'm travelling to different system and once during the mission on fero. My ps3 machine is relatively new.

Been there, done that, got a new console. If it's a consolation, the super slim model rocks. Especially with the Assassin's Creed III bundle. Hope you have your saves backed up before you deactivate it. Least you can get some trade value on your console for a new one.
