Thank the goddesses. Just tried to boot the game, but Origin was giving me the server unavailable message. Hoping it's all good in a half hour :innocent:

37 minutes ago I saw the banner saying the challenge had started. A buddy and I then proceeded to play together. We spent some consumables and now... I see it was all wasted.

Are EA's server running on Windows 98 SE or something?

they are not running on 98 Se .. because 98Se was at least a minimum stable...., it is actually working on Millenium.

I think I'll solo with a soldier.
Not the biggest soldier fan, but when I want to earn points with assault rifles quickly


Marksman or Adrenaline Rush or Devastator Mode is the way to go.

It was all wasted?

You spent time with a buddy. If you extracted, you got money and, if under level 20, experience points.

I wouldn't call that wasted. There will be a whole weekend to complete the challenge which will take all of 20 minutes or so to do anyway.

I swear, some folks get so ruffled if every single little thing doesn't go off without the slightest hitch...

LOL, just joined a gold with a LVL16 Havoc without Havoc Strike and Striker for the Lulz. Host left at wave 6, left us without consumables. Got ~95000 points, looked at challenge - nothing.
