I have a poll going which is centered around the idea that we got that happy ending and your Shepard is alive and well, living with the love of their life. Where would your Shepard settle down? With who?

Did you build that beautiful house on a warm sunny beach on Rannoch with Tali?

Are you snuggled up close with Kaidan wearing those homemade sweaters sitting next to a warm fire on a rainy day in Vancouver?

Are you holding hands with Liara as you walk down the streets of Thessia with a sunset eminating the background?

Are you sharing jokes and reminising the good days while sharing a drink with Garrus on Palaven?

Did you get to start a family and watch your kids grow up with Ash or Kelly?

Or how about living on the Citadel taking in the views with Jack or Miranda?

Or maybe enjoying living a quiet peaceful and calm relaxed life on a lone colony planet with Traynor or Cortez?

And heck, maybe you're still aboard the Normady. Retirement wasn't an option. Of course, you can still be on active duty and living on Earth. Whatever you want.


My Shepard, for one is married and living happily with Kaidan on the Citadel (being spectres and high Alliance ranks and all), having an apartment as well in Vancouver. Not retired. They're finally together. And they're never letting go.

No retirement for my Shepard until galaxy is rebuilt. We're all in this together, no excuses. (all my Sheps are more paragon than jerkish). So the closest answer is... 'Pffft, retirement?'

Then, I guess one would go to Thessia or Citadel with Liara and the other to Palaven or Citadel with Garrus.

Depends on what would keep her/him closer to the mother ( I made both my Sheps spacers, I kinda dislike the idea that hero has to be orphan badass).
So I guess Citadel.

Btw., two of the options you mentioned in your OP (not in the poll) are impossible, Miranda can't have children and Morinth always dies, but no big deal for headcanons I guess.

You bring up good points. haha!! Now I'm debating if I should fix it or not, as you did say it is all a giant head cannon, so it wouldn't really matter.  Edit: There, replaced Morinth with Kelly and swapped Miranda and Kelly's places.

Like I said in the poll, my Shep would continue with her work, along with Garrus and the rest of the crew. She knows nothing else and can't stand the... quiet life.

Depends on which Shepard, but I'll pick my current favorites.

Renegon, Colonist, Ruthless, Samantha romance ends up on a quiet colony and enjoys her retirement.

Paragade, Earthborn, War Hero, Garrus romance will probably keep on working before ending up on the Citadel in a position of power.

A year in the hospital getting multiple surgeries and another year or so of physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Shep is FUBAR at the end of ME3.

Good luck with that. I'll be waiting in the delivery room with a bible and holy water (and a machine gun) to kill the freak of nature child. It would be rather biologically impossible.

It is going to be a long and fruitless search in that case unless Shep and Tali adopt, or Tali goes the in vitro fertilization route with a Quarian donor.

Different species that are wholly unrelated to each other would not be able to produce offspring. Garrus could no more impregnate Tali than a lion could impregnate a crocodile. In fact the lion is a lot more closely related to the crocodile than Garrus would be to Tali, since the Turians and Quarians evolved on seperate planets and unlike lions and crocodiles do not share the same evolutionary ancestors.

Well, if that's the way were headed, then I'll have to go with some uber smart Salarian doctor, or maybe even Mordin himself finding a way to make two male human sperm fertilize in a tube similar to what Grunt was in and make bebehs! 

Ok, headcannon has limits. (even though it really doesn't) lol  But nice idea.

On a serious note, thanks so far for the feed. I enjoy getting a glimpse as to where everyone is at. Really neat. Interesting that most prefer to stay on Earth and the Normandy.
