Revered and feared by all. The yahg respected Shepard's strength and held back those initial years because of it. When s/he was gone, the galaxy was fair game.Charcolt wrote...
True. What remains of Shepard's legacy? Have they become a mythical 'The Shepard' style figure, revered by all species? I notice that the yahg waited until s/he died to begin their conquest

I'm not sure how I feel about a fan project being more lore-consistant than the actual product, though.

They were portrayed as being a little bit too good in ME3.Volc19 wrote...
I love it that there are some Geth that oppose individuality in this universe you're crafting.

1) I'm sick right now, so work on Praetor is minimal.
2) That minimal work is dedicated to developing the story in a separate, inaccessible document. So while it may look as if it stands still, it's actually going forward.

No, really. It could be paint adventures. But you're gonna do a game, right?
If it is: We can download it and install it like a new game, or will it overwrite ME3?

Praetor is a cross between Shepard and space-James Bond, right? That will be a fun story.
I'd like to make it graphical and interactive, but for the time being it's all conceptual.MegaIllusiveMan wrote...

Also, not sure what you mean with overwriting ME3.
Depending on how much the franchise is worth, I'd probably need like a couple of hundred millions to make that happen, and I can't say I'm a shrewd businessman.Charcolt wrote...
It's just a conceptual work. But who knows, maybe one day Arcian will buy Bioware and make this game a reality.

There will be a primary antagonist that links all the conflicts together, yes. It is called Taeldrus in the character section.Charcolt wrote...
Can you give us any hints towards the overall direction of the story? Will the antagonists be the same characters in each game?
ME4 will deal with discovering and stopping the members of the clandestine Quorum from triggering a galactic war.
Besides continuing the underlying plot from ME4, ME5 is planned to circulate mainly around the Doouka region, with the Concord and Empire struggling to convince the dooukan leaders to join them, which would tip the balance of power. The doouka are divided into seven distinct national powers engaged in an extended civil war. Praetor's job will be maintaining the power equilibrium and potentially forging the doouka into a buffert to keep the Concord and Empire from going to war.
ME6 once more continues the underlying plot, and mainly concerns the gradual unravelling of the identity and agenda of Taeldrus. The conflict between the Concord and the Empire also reaches its boiling point.

Bioware should create more species, I don´t know aliens who comes from the andromeda galaxy, I mean, strongest enemies than the reapers from other galaxy, with more evil intentions, but for another game...
Mass Effect 4 with your project would be fantastic
nice work

You know the Isovani's (virtual aliens) virtual world, the Nexus 2.0, that they built to accomodate for the influx of non-virtual tourists? Yeah, it's the Facebook of the future. The Isovani are developing it to synergize with the extranet so that people can meet up "in the flesh" even though they are a galaxy apart. And because time moves slower by a factor of sixty in the Nexus, a work break could be a night out with your friends or significant other.
As long as you have a body to redownload your mind into, you can hop in and out as much as you desire.

Can I have a vacation home in Nexus 2.0?

"Bodyjacking" is a problem on the Nexus, but it's quite difficult and requires that you know the person's entry code and possess their identity signature, both of which are unique and the first of which is renewed for every visit. Both are supplied by the Tracer security, whose prime function is to prevent such abuse of the Nexus system. It's even more difficult if you have an AI hooked up to your body that can track, disable or even blow up that body remotely if someone tampers with it.Charcolt wrote...
This is going to lead to some wacky side quest where a hacker downloads into Praetor's body, isn't it? Identity theft on a whole new level
But the best of the best might be able to do it. Someone equal or greater in skill than Kasumi.
Bodies that do get jacked leaves Strays - digitized minds walking the Nexus system for the rest of the system's lifespan. Strays usually run into credit problems the first few days after being jacked, and are forced to move out to the uninhabited "wilderness" spaces of the Nexus where they usually converge into poor communities.
