"Bodyjacking" is a problem on the Nexus, but it's quite difficult and requires that you know the person's entry code and possess their identity signature, both of which are unique and the first of which is renewed for every visit. Both are supplied by the Tracer security, whose prime function is to prevent such abuse of the Nexus system. It's even more difficult if you have an AI hooked up to your body that can track, disable or even blow up that body remotely if someone tampers with it.Charcolt wrote...
This is going to lead to some wacky side quest where a hacker downloads into Praetor's body, isn't it? Identity theft on a whole new level
But the best of the best might be able to do it. Someone equal or greater in skill than Kasumi.
Bodies that do get jacked leaves Strays - digitized minds walking the Nexus system for the rest of the system's lifespan. Strays usually run into credit problems the first few days after being jacked, and are forced to move out to the uninhabited "wilderness" spaces of the Nexus where they usually converge into poor communities.
Bodyjacking would make for quite the shennanigans in a side mission. Maybe Praetor needs to jack the body of someone working for one of the antagonists to infiltrate one of their compounds, while some some random jerkbag jacks Praetor. The quest could involve squadmates getting bodyswapped all over the place to help Praetor (bonus points if your LI is predetermined to swap with Vassak).

Mind listing the rest of the over/underpowered powers? Feedback is gold, my friend, and I'm in the market for it.Get fired up wrote...
Just read through the entire project, and it looks really good. Some of the squadmate powers are kinda over- or underpowered (stasis trap looks worthless) most of them look stable, and really fun to use!
Unless a mysterious hero/ine with kickass concept art skills steps out to lend me a saving hand, illustrations are going to have to wait until I can get past the crayon-drawing-on-fridge stage.Get fired up wrote...
The setting and history is sound, and even the description of how the protheans survived is acceptable, and their history since is really interesting, so much that I'd actually consider playing one. One thing that'd be much apreciated would be illustrations of the new species (and females of old species that were never shown!) and ship designs. Can't wait for you to fill out the still missing texts, and adding more stuff like weapons and armors.
So do I, compadre, so do I.Get fired up wrote...
Good luck, and I actually wish you had the funds to make this game real.
It could make for some interesting side-missions, for sure, but it's really difficult since you need to pass through two layers of safety measures before you can jack someone else's body. Proxies have a third layer of defense - their Auxes. And bodyjacking a Proxy is a really bad idea since they're basically walking nukes QEC-linked to AIs with their fingers on the big red button.Volc19 wrote...

The Auxes are required by protocol to remotely destroy their Proxy if the Proxy is ever captured, killed, deserts or becomes otherwise unable to carry on their duty in the field without the possibility of immediate evacuation.

You mean humor in dialogue? If so, then yes. Humor is a Mass Effect staple.TK Dude wrote...
Very nice project you got there, OP. But one question that was kicking me for a while, do you intent to put humor in the project? Can't hurt to have humor, sometimes. =)

Realized this idea works poorly since it requires people to have Mass Effect 3 registered to the BSN. Also the issue of anonymity. Going to use a tumblr ask account instead.Arcian wrote...
I'm considering closing the comments on the docs and encouraging using this thread for comments instead. This is because I'm beginning to have a lot of documents and some of them, particularly missions, are in subfolders I may or may not check that often, whereas I check this thread daily.
