- In my first playthrough, like many people, I missed the shortcut after the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest. My sister had to be the one to tell me that I didn't HAVE to go through those long winding caverns to get back to the ruined temple. xD
- When I first equipped an bow, I realized that I didn't have any arrows so I unequipped it. Having played Oblivion, I thought that you actually needed to buy arrows to actually use a bow.

Leliana's song is not as random as it seemed to me at first - its "In Uthenara" - the lyrics to which you get when you open up Lanaya's chest in the Dalish camp.
Yeah, I just realized that when I was looking through YouTube for the song. I came across one with lyrics and the person who uploaded it said it was "In Uthenera". Since I was playing a Dalish Elf that time, it made the song even more special to me.
Leliana talks about seeing the blooming rose in the dead bush back at Lothering, which was her sign that the Maker had told her to have hope and find you, essentially. Alistair later gives you a beautiful rose that he found in Lothering....coincidence? I think not! I wonder how Leliana would feel to know that Alistair picked the Maker's rose?
I think I only realized that on my second or third playthrough.. If it was the Maker's rose that Alistair picked up, then I think it makes it even more romantic when he gives that rose to your PC.
- Lastly (and embarrassingly), after going through Fort Drakon with just my companions, when I finally reached the Archdemon, I totally forgot about summoning your armies to help you fight off the Archdemon and the darkspawn. I remembered thinking, "This is crazy! There's no way me and my party could fight off the Archedemon AND the darkspawn!" It was only after I died maybe two or three times that I realized that the army control icon is visible on the uper right screen.
