Tali's loyalty music of course followed by Samara's then Jacob's loyalty music... so on and so forth..

how does this relate to multiplayer? well i was thinking about having the option for each person individually to select their own mass effect music per map. the music would be divided into two parts. one would be with the regular waves and the other would be during objectives.

it would be done in the options menu and it would have a new slot for "Multiplayer" labled as such. from there you would have the option to
-Change music per map
  combat theme
  objective theme
-Select which ever your prefered maps are and which maps you do not want to see in random rotation.(will only work if your the host)
-Select which factions are your prefered and which you prefer less. the chances of recieving a non-prefered faction will decrease. (will only work if your the host)

i figured id just add the last two things since theyve been suggested by people already Image IPB
(the first one might have been suggested too but i havent seen it)

I loved the Combat Theme from Overlord DLC. Would be awesome to have it during extraction wave.

Make the music match the maps, or at least the enemies.

Operation Overlord was phenomenal, and it's amazing for geth.

View of Palaven would make me want to play FBCondor.

The scientists, mars, the cerberus plot all fit ceberus ops to a T.

The main mass effect theme can work for standard reaper games.

Collectors can pick from pretty much anything they want in two.

E: ME1 menu, Vigil, was an emotional falcon pawnch when mordin kicked the bucket.

The music played when fighting Tela Vasir was very memorable and also probably one of the most fun single player combat I've experienced.

I wish the music from where either Jack or Samara escorts the squad with their biotic bubble would play in the multiplayer escort missions. Very appropriate I think. Also the rest of the suicide mission score was excellent.

That one scene where you fight off everyone near the Reaper artifact in the Arrival. I definitely felt the urgency in fighting off everyone by yourself.

And the music playing just before Shepard was extracted from Vancouver in the prologue. That was just epic music.

The track is called Vigil I believe. If you've been to any Video Games Live concert they almost always open with that piece and a loud roar ensures :)

As for what would translate well to MP, a lot of the greatest tracks from the OSTs wouldn't qualify for being too closely fitted or associated with certain scenes. Pieces like the Ardat Yakshi (ME3) and the Normandy Reborn (Originally ME2, reused in ME3). The former is used to introduce the SR2 in both games and scores the cutscene of the arriving Reaper horde after te suicide mission. The latter contains several motifs strongly associated after the monastery mission with Samara's decision to commit suicide rather than filicide. They are both enjoyable to listen to, but they don't translate well to a generalized combat soundtrack for the baggage the carry.

Now, for what will translate well, we have several examples, most from ME2 and its DLCs.

Samara's, Legion's, and Tali's themes are excellent for general ass-kicking. The End Run would make excellent extraction music, and the Suicide Mission for an objective that actually lasts the full five minutes. The Arrival soundtrack would translate well all around I think. I'm still bummed it wasn't released commercially. Ditto several tracks from the (fortunately released) LotSB OST, like the scoring of the Dracon Center, Vasir, and Broker fights. The combat themes from overlord would also suffice nicely.

From ME3, we have the scoring of the Cerbrus attack on the citadel and their defecting scientists,  Rannoch's theme, and the Mars Theme.

ME1's OST feels a little camp in retrospect at least partially due to its being influenced by 80's sci-fi soundtracks, and my favorite combat theme isn't even on the OST (Therum mission, the sequence of skirmishes before entering the mine). Not much of it would translate well to the "feel" of the newer games.
