the Lair of the Shadow Broker OST is awesome (the whole dlc is!)....so anything from Chris Lennertz... to include the remixed versions found in the Arrival DLC.

Vigil (all versions) and Suicide Mission are default BEST OF.

Leaving Earth (ME3), Samara's theme and the piano music from Kasumi's loyalty mission are good too

Gotta go with this.

Listen to songs from ME1 and for the most part you can say "Hey, that's from Mass Effect". And everything all came together with the ending credits song. 2 was a little bit more ho-hum. ME3? Bleh. The only songs I like from it are Leaving Earth, Main Menu and Character Creation.

Basically, I like good use of leitmotif and not over-hamming the orchestral stuff. It's also pretty noticeable in the Halo series - CE started out mostly electronic, by 3 it's basically Hollywood-tier.

There's so many other good songs in this series though. Most of them seem to come from ME2.

Not many games have soundtracks that are actually quite difficult to pick a favorite song from..though I would probably go for..

Of the games, ME2 had the best soundtrack, with Suicide Mission being my favorite, closely followed by The Normandy Reborn.
