Can someone please confirm which items are being given out for DA:O? I think I've got everything on my PS3 anyway, so I'll use the code for PC if that is the case. Thanks ^^

I was able to install all of the Origins DLC through the manual downloads. I was unable to do so through the in-game downloads manager.Agelico wrote...
Could somebody please confirm they were able to install these DLCs for Origins on PC? I know there was a link for manual download at the first page of this very topic, but I'm simply curious whether it's possible to do it through the game.
And thank you, BioWare!

I am not a fan of promotions like these, though. I wish the effort that what put into these items was put into the games themselves. If the game is great it will sell great. On the other side of the spectrum: A bad game doesn't sell, no matter how many hot items are given away.
Anyway. Thanks.

I'll confirm that I also had to do the manual downloads that were linked here. Make sure that you turn on the server connection so that you can authorize them and you should be good to go. After that you can turn the internet off again. Also look in the potions tab because there is a book that will give you 1 skill point.Agelico wrote...

If you have a current DAO save file the items magically appear in your bags when you load up the game for the first time, so there is no need to create a new character. I imagine that with DA2 they will all appear in your house chest, but I haven't played DA2 yet.

And thank you, BW! I don't think I said ty. I was too busy scurrying off to open my presents. That's how it made me feel, like a kid ripping open x-mas presents. Toys! And lots of them!
Hnnngg. I luv loot.
And, yes, I'm gonna have to do a new playthru. Hopefully I can keep it at a nice slow roll. Sum DAO, completionist, canon play. Sum DAA. Then swing into DA2. Maybe I can pace myself w/it until at least close to DA3 launch. Savor it like a caramel candy.
Although, eeeee...idk. That's asking alot from me. I'm one of those ppl that it only takes 3 licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll pop. Then Cruuunch!
heh, heh..hmmm.

Allan being a Bioware dev, did you already have access to all the items or is this a treat for you as well.

It is legit, and we'll do the proper announce later today. The page is also being updated to confirm which items you get across the games. Essentially, everything we're allowed to provide that we ever rolled out as a promo item in the past is there.
Some things to keep in mind: Not all items were released on all platforms. Also, for PC make sure you grab & install latest patches manually from this site, and also grabbed & installed the downloads for those items that need it (you can find all those in this page: https://social.biowa...ntitlements.php). On console, make sure connect and have the games login to the EA servers at least once after you add these to your account.
For DAO, this includes:
Memory Band, Feral Wolf Charm, Guildmaster's Belt, Band of Fire, Dalish Promise Ring, Bulwark of the True King, The Edge, Embri's Many Pockets, Bregan's Bow, Helm of the Deep, The Lucky Stone, The Lion's Paw, Pearl of the Annointed, Mark of Vigilance, Amulet of the War Mage and The Wicked Oath.
For DA2, this includes:
Staff of Parthalan, Pendant of the Morning Frost, Arlathan Focusing Crystal, The High Lords Belt, The Antivan Garrote, Band of Stolen Shadows, The Deep Green, Hawke Family Crest, Ring of Whispers, Air of Confidence, Amulet of Ashes, Boots of the Frozen Wastes, Fadeshear, Lion of Orlais, Dura's Blue Flame, Evra's Might, Evra's Trophy Belt, The Far Cliffs of Kirkwall, Hindsight, Hayder's Razor, Ivo Family Crest, Lothering's Lament, The Irons, and Of Things Not Lost
