Actually, I just took my own advice and reviewed the entire thread. Post for post. All I can say is that I herby nominate TheCandleJack for troll of the year. For God's sake person( gender nuetral enough for this thread I hope) get a life. No matter how sensual your arguments are or may be, this whole pot can be summed up as follows:

1.) person gets followed around, sheild boosted, and then equipment stops working.
2.) offended party gets mad, tells person to fvck off, and quits.
3.) feels offense is due to gender.
4.) makes a post on BSN leveling these very charges.

How to have handled this incident:

1.) get on mike and ask person to stop.
2.) explain why they should stop.
3.) give them on more warning if they continue.
4.) then report them to Microsoft and BSN.
5.) then make a post detailing the issue and request the BSN fix it so it never has to happen again.

Voilah, crisis avoided. And with not having to drag the gender bag out again. See how simple that was. But again, I do so love reading the great humorous responses to this posts and even better the responses of those whom took this post serious. Now excuse me as I have a weekend challenge to attend to.

The guy shield boosted me, I thought nothing of it because I did dodge to the side a little.  Enemies spawn, I run to them stasis some mooks and toss some grenades get some kills. That's when the guy runs behind me and starts repeatedly shield boosting me. I'm thinking WTF? Then I realized what he was doing. I run around and they guy follows right behind me still shield boosting. Now I know he's doing it on purpose. (I ran to other side of them map, he continued even when there were no enemies around shooting me).

I'm normally a laid back, chill type of person (you can ask any of my friends) but this really, I mean really pissed me off to the point I put my mic in and said:

"Hey guy playing the volus, you shield boosted me to the point I can't use my f*cking powers or weapons, thanks a f*cking lot."

I immediately left the game.

Honestly what was the freaking point? Are you bitter because you got outscored by a girl?

Bioware you need to fix this ASAP. Its a waste of equipment, time and effort. I love this game and want to continue playing with out worrying about some ****** trying to ruin it. <_<

(This thread will be bumped, I have a feeling the guy may be on the forums and I want him to know he was reported to both Microsoft and BioWare.)

Hahahahhhahahah, sucker!  But yes, the Volus are both weak and glitchy as hell, shows people that Bioware has no idea what they're doing whatsoever.

The Volus being weak makes sense though, they're not frontline fighters. The Volus Engi though has the pocket nuke on him and that does great damage and is a good debuff. (Recon Mine ).

I wish I had something to punish non-objective doers with. But I tend to leave if a team has more than one of them... so I'll never have an opportunity to shield spam them.

I assume a Volus can't self inflict this bug? When I play Krogan-Volus super team, I occasionally get the bug...and quickly get rid of it. But I'm just thinking, Krodept spamming Warp & Shockwave and Volus spamming Shield Boost... I imagine Snipers will tend to stay towards the other side of the map on non objective waves.

Seriously, OP has no sense of style.

If someone is trolling you, troll them right back. Go hug a pair of banshees; one of them is bound to grab him too!

Or even better, act oblivious, put on your best "cute-girl" voice and repeatedly tell him how thoughtful it is to be shield boosting you and keeping you alive. Show him that its having the opposite effect; and he'll probably stop it.

Either that, or he's a lonely soul, who heard your sweet voice over mic and thought "ZOMG, A GURL, IMA PROTECTA HER" and changed to volus because he intended to be your own personal care-bear; and you broke his heart by throwing it in his face. You are bad and you should feel bad.

Volus aren't weak by any means. you just have to use them right. they aren't the easy button some layouts are but when used corrctly they are awesome
