Finally, Internet Book Shop told me today that my copies of the two novels, The Stolen Throne and The Calling, will arrive tomorrow. So, I wanted to ask you guys:

1. Which characters we know from the game appear in the two novels?
2. Am I right and the two books must be read in order or they are standalone?
3. Is there a plan for a third book? If so, does The Calling end with a huge cliffhanger of sorts?

1 Only Loghain and Duncan ((((Aaaaaannnd : The Architect, a new character in the expansion))))



2 They can be read standalone, but is't better to read them in order (TST, TC)

1 Loghain and Duncan as mentioned. Yet if you want to get picky Emon Tegan and Calin are all mentioned in the books if only briefly.



2. Read them in order as with anything that has a first and a second the first would be the right choice to start with.



3. No idea if there will be a new book but the new Expansion seems like it might be adressing the clifhanger from The Calling.

You forgot Maric and Cailan. And maybe Flemeth as the witch that saved Loghain and Maric

Thanks for the reply everyone. I'm really looking forward reading the books, especially The Calling, now that I know about Awakening and The Architect
