I don't use it because it's ugly as damn seventh hell.  And i hate Male Shepard.

Other banners are prettier. Other banners take longer to get. Other banners are other banners.

There have been a lot of discussions about it... some feel there is a stigma against the lone wolf banner... there have been stories of people saying they were kicked because of it...

Could also be that people just like changing their banners?

I'd use it if I had it. My internet connection will for some reason disconnect me whenever I am close like Wave 8 or 9. I have many recorded GameCard videos of me trying out the newly released characters on a Gold solo with me disconnecting at around 23 minutes each time, so much rage.

I bet they don't use it so people don't expect too much out of them. I've seen other people let themselves bleed out expecting the Lone Wolf to carry the team even though he may not be using a kit he is good with or even a decent gun due to the challenge system.

I used it for 1 day, so do my "Hardcore" one. Then switched back to "Defender". That banner so awesome, and the name too. Some banners  just cooler than the Lone Wolf.

I wouldn't use it if I had it. I've seen insta kicks pop up on Lone Wolfers even of they're sporting a Paladin with a Harrier IX.

The same reason I'm about to take down my BoB banner. PUG's won't really have the urge to medigel or use consumables... "let the best of the best clutch the next two waves while I'm grabbing a soda and taking a ****".

I don't like the look of the banner thats why I don't use it. I used it twice in a PUG match and ended up carrying both matches and no one bothered to medigel. I'm sticking with Council Operative now just because I like that banner alot.

The Lone Wolf hate is spawned from the title. Many think that "Lone Wolf" means your not a team player. It's too bad many of the best players I have played with have been Lone Wolves.

Yep, agree that a lot of the other banners just plain look better. Rocking Nomad currently partly since it looks great and partly because it took a long time to get.

I've definitely found that people do seem to play worse (use less consumables) when using the lone wolf banner. I definitely found myself clutching more waves, which definitely gets old.

Several reasons :
* I don't find it particularly good-looking
* I tend to display the last one I got (Lone Wolf was the first one in my case)
* the Lone Wolf banner has been quite the target of many stupid remarks (some people have even stated they kicked Lone Wolves from their lobby), so I'd rather avoid this kind of debate in game.

I don't like this banner because it's remind me how much the ending is awfull and I don't like Male Shepard! I want a banner with female Shepard!

If and when I earn it I'll probably keep it up until I get another one. I've just been rotating them as I earn them. Kind of like, 'ooo shiny here's a new one' until the next one is earned and takes its spot.

Why would you just stick with one banner unless its a very difficult to obtain? Lone wolf in my case would fall in to that category but its lame looking & people may assume you'll go all rambo, perhaps expecting you to be an epic player even though you got the achievement by playing the Krogan Vanguard.

So far I have 3 banners as they were reasonably easy to achieve & apart from the mathemagican (hate that) to me the best looking banners compared to others and as soon as I get some more guardian kills, I will have the war fighter banner. Then rotate every so often to freshen things up.
