Killing hacked synthetics can actually make sense with the tech damage taken evolution of sabotage.
Just give them a little time to shoot their friends in the back first.

If somebody hacked a turret I'm not going to stop shooting at it. In fact, I see that as a perfect opportunity to stand out of cover and take it down safely.

Also, kill faster.

As a Batarian player myself, I understand the satisfaction of that heavy melee animation. As such, I'll always pull up my shooting for a Batarian serving up the big knuckle sandwich.

that is becoming a source of frustration for me trying to get the pistol acheivement. it's infuriating to decorate a mob like a mass effect christmas tree only to have it chunked before my glowing bulbs start to detonate.

nothing like dumping haf a clip into a mob for 8 "assist" points.

i am advancing at half the speed i did with any other weapon because the dmg payoff is delayed.

just responding to this rant rather than one of my own.

If I see a dude trying for a melee kill with a Batarian, I try to let him have it. After waiting all day for the windup, they deserve to reap the fruits of their labor.

Sometimes I shoot guys about to be meleed because I have a scope on and I dont see it. Otherwise I just let them go for it.

If you melee a guy it's only gonna get better so I'd say it helps more to leave you alone as a whole.

I was in a game the other day, and noticed a Vorcha about to kill a husk a had targetted. I stopped firing with a few bars of health still left to let vorcha have the kill for bloodlust. But the game gave me the kill a couple of seconds later anyway.
