To be fair, I have a sort of murderous tunnel vision where I do not see what my allies are doing unless it involves powers I can prime or detonate for. If something is in front of me and alive, I will shoot it. It does not matter what you're about to do. It's nothing against you, it's simply war!

I play a batarian sometimes and I don't bother punching. It's fun to look at but not terribly effective efficient. So I punch the air in between waves

The batarian heavy melee should honestly function like a grab kill, as to how enemies are immune to damage when they're in a grab kill animation, always guaranteeing you the hit/kill, not saying the falcon punch would always be an insta-kill though. Merely because of the popeye like wind-up it takes before you actually get to hit something.

yeah, that's frustrating when teammates see that I'm in the process of punching and only few enemies are around and still kill - whether on purpose or not
