Hi.
I'm working on a single-player module called The Demon of Fenmire.
It will be a fairly short adventure for a level 1 character of any race or class, is set in the Forgotten Realms (near Nashkel) and the story concerns a demon, a terrorised village, the power of language and propoganda, and a chicken called George. It will contain various new, unique items and monsters and should take the player to level 3 or 4.
As a rough early estimate, I expect to finish and upload it to the Vault about a month from now. It will be published under the name Hides His Eyes (my other module, Prayers From Willowbank, was published under the name Black Wings).

Did someone say chicken?
From what you've said so far, it does sound interesting. I'll keep an eye out for it. Cool, I can run through Prayers From Willowbank while I'm waiting. Thanks!

That reminds me of Baldur's Gate (Nashkel and chickens, of course it does). It sounds like fun.

Thanks for the interest. I should warn you that, due to a bit of confusion about different versions of the CEP, some people have been unable to play Prayers from WIllowbank.
The Demon of Fenmire won't use the CEP (or any hakpaks).

Yeah, I ran into a problem with a couple of haks, myself. From what I could find, the "b" version files needed were about the same as the "a" ones anyway, so I just copied and renamed files I already had and did quite well. I am very close to the end of the module and have enjoyed it thus far. Please keep up the good work!

Thanks very much! I'm glad you've enjoyed it. If you'd like to leave a comment on the Vault page for the module to tell potential future downloaders how you dealt with it, that would be much appreciated!

That's a good idea, so I just posted the workaround along with my vote. Thanks again for building and sharing.
