ME1 has a lot of fake dialogue choices that pretty much say the same things. I still feel like ME2 had the best dialogue wheels. I'm also a bit disappointed that they didn't try to carry over some of the PC improvements on the inventory system to the PS3 version.
Other than that, I love ME1. People always complained about the real time loading (elevators and Normandy boarding) but personally I love it. It makes the Mass Effect Universe feel seamless.
EDIT:
Also, I don't know if they improved the handling on the Mako but it feels so much easier driving it with a dualshock controller.
So basically you get to lie to yourself that what your shepard is saying is actually what he is saying, rather than just a loading screen for autodialouge that ME1 dialouge wheel actually is.
