on a first playthrough, i generally aim to mance the character i relate to the most, regardless of what they look like, b/c i'd rather the romance part just be easy and predictable so i can focus on the rest of the game. if that turns out to be the ugliest person in the game, so be it.

then i tend to try various romances and romance styles to get more into the character elements, and tend to cannon the mance i find most interesting. again, if that turns out to be the ugly character, then it does.

besides, if we have our pc's romance the uglies, it isn't as though that's not easily remedied by deleting a frigging character file.

What I do is romance a guy to see it then load and continue as single/pre-locked romance.
Because I don't know who to choose in DAO (I haven't gotten that into DA2 yet). Of course who I really wanted was Morrigan but she straight :[ so I'll have to play a malebrodudeguyman just for that.

The real question is... would you romance a Skyrim elf?

Confidence and a sense of humor go a long way with me. Looks are always secondary. I'd be more attracted to some average joe who could make me laugh than some ripped pretty boy who is dull as dishwater.

I thought the high elves were pretty hot...might have been because of their arrogant "I'm better than you, peasant" attitude, though. *coughAmbassadorElenwencough*

It doesn't hurt that Gwendoline Christie, the actress who plays Brienne (Season Two onwards, although Season One is also worth checking out) is rather attractive.




They gave her bad hair and made her up to make her look as unmade-up as possible for the role of the Maid of Tarth; if truth be told, HBO's Brienne is more plain than ugly. As described in the books, well, there's a good reason people mockingly call her Brienne the Beauty.

Ms. Christie is also tall, 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m), which is just hawt!!
