If that's true, why do Turian sentinels have airspeed?

When you have a base class that has a variable it gets carried over into the derivations.

So you can't avoid having variables even if they aren't used.

So in order to support this variable to be available for 90% of classes it was included in the base class.

Some guesses:

AccelRate: Rate to go to top speed
CombatGroundSpeed: ?
CombatWalkSpeed: normal speed
CoverCrouchGroundSpeed: when in low cover
CoverGroundSpeed: when in full cover
StormSpeed: full speed
StormSpeedScale: ?
StormSpeedScaleTime: ?
StormStartSpeed: delay after pressing magic button

But the airspeed differs from the value in the base class. That seems a little weird. Why bother doing that?

My guess would be that CombatGroundSpeed is your normal movement speed while CombatWalkSpeed is your speed when firing, holding Ctrl or carrying the galaxy's heaviest laptop.
