loving it so far.  some minor bugs but it looks and feels fantastic so far (-> liara mission). what do others think?

thank you bioware for doing this extra work and giving it to us at such a reasonable price!:) it's worth saying so just to balance out all of the trollery.

Looks and plays better than the Xbox version. What more can I say? Edge of Reality did an excellent port. The only issue I have is that sometimes the music is louder than it should be, but that's very rare.

yeah. i'm so relieved that it wasn't a straight port of the xbox version. they could've been really lazy with that but weren't. i like the streamlined inventory/shop interface as well.

there is 1 bug that was always in me1 and that we all experienced it no matter what platform we played it on. and that bug is in elevators . right after u go in you can't leave any more. so make sure you save your game before you enter an elevator ;)

The only new bug i've seen that wasn't in the xbox version was a few delayed audio issues. But it seemed to have corrected itself... (i know that's impossible, but *crosses fingers*)

Other than that the game is really amazing. The touch ups to the graphics really make a big difference, and the game plays just like i remember it from xbox.

Audio for me seems to be all over the place volume wise. Also when I talked to the Salarian on Virmire, he didn't have a head! pretty hilarious, the conversation was the same, and when he rallies the troops, he still didn't have a head!! I couldn't stop laughing. I didn't try a re-load by the way.

Spoke with Mordin. Head in cloaca as previously discussed.

I'm enjoying it, but I'm having a few bugs. The most notable is my teammates. Sometimes they'll attack a little bit, othertimes they just stand still doing nothing. I have them set to use their powers too.

Audio bugs is all I have. The NPC's lips will start moving before anything comes out. I can deal with that.

Thank you Bioware! Now I see why there's so much love for the first game. I'm replaying it with my FemShep soldier to see what I've been missing (thank you also to Mass Effect wikia) . My old Shepards are deleted in favor of total canon Shepards.
Other than some audio bugs, no complaints. Ordinarilly I hate using subtitles in games but seems to be a neccesity here. Also of course, having to get used to the original interface and mechanics but there's too many pros and really no cons.
I'm Commander Shepard and this is my favorite game on the Citadel!Image IPB

I love it so far. Had some issues with the Mako freezing up while the enemies keep on shooting at it, but it's only a temporary freeze (but annoying ><). Other than that I like the side quests, and the world exploration the most. Thanks again Bioware for releasing this game on to the PS3!!

Loving the game, damn, it actualy looks better then on my high end pc :-D

But, if bioware are going to releese any patches, can you give us the ability to costumize the controls.
Not a big fan of the SELECT fo GRANADES, and the square button hes no function, give it the switch weapon function, and the L2 for another power map or granades.

Oh and if it could be possible to do somthig about the saving mechanisem, the auto save is creazy...

^ This!

I have the PC version and yes, always save bofore entering ANY elevator that's in a mission (citadel and Normandy ones always work). Neither of the two patches released fixed this lol.

I'm glad to see PS3 fans enjoying ME1, I really felt it was a shame when they didn't get to play it the first time around.

I watch the opening sequence where it shows command shepard walking through the CIC and still get goosebumps because the editing and musical scoring is just perfect.

I keep getting a bug where the shadows on my Shepard's face will give her a Hitler mustache from time to time XD And I've had the odd squad dialogue on the Citadel fail to trigger, but other than that it's pretty damn good, and definitely less buggy than my PC playthrough! Loving it <3

It was a straight port, and inventory is exactly the same though...

The only serious bug I've noticed is very annoying. On Feros, EVERY time I do Feros, I go into the Geth Tunnels and my companions stop following me. The only way to get them to move is to press up on the D-Pad. Very annoying.

Other than that, some minor sentence cut offs and the occasional Audio cut outs but nothing too serious.

I LOVE driving the Mako! Too bad it's so universally hated. :(
