Myself, I can always fall back on MEHEM should further content for the finale - with the gathering of all key writers involved for the next SP-project, I do not even think that assumption entirely unlikely - fail to satisfactorily wrap up the game yet again.
If they were seriously aiming to do something along the lines of MEHEM, I would laugh. Hard.

Really? I don't think I'd be able to muster anything beyond a slow headshake at this point.

this game needs the possibility for a possitive note - no matter who the li is.

Anyone with a very rudimentary knowledge of the ending and the fan reaction will know that little blue babies is just not a possibility for most of the crude choices and there's just the barest glimmer of hope in the Destroy option.  Asking for little blue babies was a common way of fans in this forum (and elsewhere) to ask Bioware to give an ending where Shep lives and hooks up with his love interest. There's only one way that's possible, and that's to change or add an ending where Shep can be around to make some offspring happen. To suggest anything else is to be purposely obtuse.

I haven't really invested any time in learning about either. I just wanted what they gave us at the end of ME2, the choice of grimdark (Shep and everyone but Joker dies) up to and including happy (Shep and everyone lives and we give the finger to TIM). 

I also wanted big differences in the story based on the decisions made in the previous two games. 

And they promised this wide variety in endings and story, but whatever.

What? That they won't change the ending? 

If that's what you mean, I think I stayed positive about it for a long time. I was on the boards asking for them to change things almost immediately and gave constructive feedback in the threads they put up for that and I followed what was happening even after they announced that the EC wasn't going to change any endings. 

I even took the silly EC for a spin. 

It's been a long time. They've said repeatedly they aren't going to change anything. Supposedly their DLC is selling well. What incentive do they have to cave in at this point? It seems there's not enough customers like me who refuse to buy any more of their stuff for them to change their minds. 

I already knew that some of the voice actors wanted to do more with their characters. And they do, they want to come back for ME4. But that doesn't mean it's going to happen. Even if they do, it doesn't mean they'll come back as the same characters. 

I'd like to be pleasantly suprised but at this point I think they've made their choice and they're going to stick with it, even if it means losing some customers.

They wont change anyhitng because "changing" something involves taking something out to put something new in... They wouldn't have to do that if they were to "expand" on the endings.... Furthermore, as far as I'm aware, the only person that's said it is Mr. Prieslty, in which case it's his job to lie.. *shrug*

I'm not giving up hope yet.. Especially after Ali HIllis and Jen Hale display at the VGA's... Coz if nothing happens, they are just as evil as EA.
