Borderlands sold 5 million copies and Diablo 3 sold roughly 10. I'd argue its pretty damned impressive ME3 managed to score a RPG of the year over them.

You know what game did manage to pick up an RPG of the year against pretty weak competition, certainly weaker's than this year's crop?

ME1.

Why is he going on about people 'entering these worlds and doing what they want', 'freedom' etc., when he himself has been busy reducing that freedom in his own games for the past few years?

Ah well, Hudson always talked a good game. Shame that there's this disconnect between what he says and what he produces.

Borderlands wasent in the RPG running. Diablo 3 was but their still haveing issues.

Ah my mistake point still stands, Diablo 3 represented stiffer competition than anything ME1 went up against.

Seriously, anyone who goes on AND ON about haters because they share a drastically different opinion than your own... Are just simply haters themselves. But then this is the internet and BSN no less, so no more should be expected from this savagery. If I were content I would feel sorry for those that aren't. And if I wasn't content, I would be envious of those that are... I guess not everyone can empathize that heavily. Since when was it considered "cool" to thrive of the hurting?

Yes but they won't understand that simple concept.

You'll notice most pro enders and defenders act like they're so much more mature and intelligent, but then they turn around and talk about drinking tears, and gloat over the fact that Bioware won a ugly looking monkey trophy made out of cheap plaster.

It was nominated at the hyper-glitzy VGAs and shared air time with the industry's heavy-hitters, thus putting it in front of a bunch of eyes that might've never seen it. That's something.
