You know what, congratulations Casey and ME team on the award for best RPG.

I hope you guys do keep pushing. Get that tech. Get those ideas going. Be the trend Setters again.

I'm genuinely happy for you.

Seriously, anyone who goes on AND ON about haters because they share a drastically different opinion than your own... Are just simply haters themselves. But then this is the internet and BSN no less, so no more should be expected from this savagery. If I were content I would feel sorry for those that aren't. And if I wasn't content, I would be envious of those that are... I guess not everyone can empathize that heavily. Since when was it considered "cool" to thrive of the hurting?

FOR SHAME!

Yes but they won't understand that simple concept.

You'll notice most pro enders and defenders act like they're so much more mature and intelligent, but then they turn around and talk about drinking tears, and gloat over the fact that Bioware won a ugly looking monkey trophy made out of cheap plaster.

I don't think that. I just simply like the Ending I have ( I can't wait to see the Extended Version). I don't really care for Control, Synthesis, and Refusal.

Btw anyone notice that when Zoe Saldana listed off the GOTY nominess, the crowd cheering went silent when she said Mass Effect 3, and then picked up again when she said Walking Dead?

I did not, but I did notice the crowd go ape-isht over a video-game adaptation of a wildly-popular TV series.

Wasn't TWD adapted from the comic and not the show?

You really think that's what the audience there was thinking?

The crowd cheered for 4 out of 5 games listed. ME3 was the one where the cheering died down. I find that funny.

Just like to remind those anti-ME3 crowd that the industry takes note of what wins and loses such awards, it adjusts the style and format of their games to what seems popular relating to things like VGA's. So let the wah wah begin. The effect of it winning will influence more games to be like it over next year, I for one who liked the game look forward to such. >:D

Control was way better before EC, some things are better just left to the imagination.

It doesn't matter what the audience was thinking. It matters what the developers were making. If they were making it as an adaptation from the comic, it's potentially going to be better than an adaptation for a show. Regardless of what the fans are thinking.

It's not really that complicated.

It's interesting to note that BW never described ME3 as an RPG. Look at the official site. Instead it's called an "action game with an interactive story" and an "action-shooter game". The term RPG is nowhere to be found. I wonder if the site will be changed now that it won the prize. Anyway... The devs must be glad with that prize, though. Congrats.

I can call an apple an orange but calling it something else does not make it so.

:P

The difference is that I am not describing it like those, but instead the developers of the game do not describe it as an RPG. That means it wasn't their intention to make ME3 an RPG.

I was referring to the cheering plants in the audience at the VGAs, not those who have actually played the game and know better.

Developer didn't say that, publisher did. One that you did not believe when relating to PR for DA2, yet yet magically believe when comes to ME3 PR.

When you look at the stocks that have been plummeting for game companies, and the amount of devs that have been leaving the industry, it's hard to ignore the writing on the wall.

That's like saying "we're in a great depression for cars, aren't we" when you see the numbers of companies, well-known companies, either closing up shop or being bought by an Indian company or a...a...who is it that bought Saab? Northern Europe, I know that much. Anyway, it isn't true. Just because people are jumping ship doesn't mean there aren't quality products still being made.

And, because there are quality products being made, simply that, i know it isn't in a depression. Regardless of what devs are doing.
