I'm puzzled to see ME3 won anything to begin with.
Absolutely thrilled to see TWD getting the recognition it deserves, however.
Honestly it goes to show just how much gamers and games have de-evolved. I remember when games use to be innovative, and fresh. Nowwa days it seems they just stick to vanilla, no risk ideas. And the drones in here cant seem to get enough of these re-used boring ideas. I've never felt more ashamed to be a gamer than i do now.
It is irrelevant that most of crowd prefers lowest common denominator for a game. Why you are ashamed by having some standarts for entertainment - it should be directly opposite.Ryoten wrote...

I don't really care about the VGAs all that much, but it was nice to see that The Walking Dead got a well-deserved win. It was also nice that ME3 won the RPG award - mainly because I've so far been amused to see that people who can't move on with their lives are still raging about the game.
Borderlands 2 was technically part RPG. Actually if you count the witcher 2 as new for being released on 360 this year it had some amazing competition lolLiec wrote...
Well, ME3 is better than Dragon's Dogma, Kingdoms of Amalur and... what other RPGs were released this year >.>?
Been meaning to play the walking dead how is itAtreiyaN7 wrote...

Lets get one thing straight. Mass Effect 3, in spite of its flaws (which are numerous), it's still a very good game. You combine that with the fact that we're dealing with an industry thats struggling to innovate and get past the Call of Duty mold and it's a no brainer for RPG of the year. .
