Still think the competitive banter between the Shepards give off the sibling vibe. I always believed that both Shepards existed inuniverse, but the one option not selected dies in the pre-service history. If Shep is a biotic, the other had the brain turmor.
If Shepard was a Spacer, the other died with their father - or they had a falling out and no longer talk to one another. If Shep is Earthborn or Colonist, the other died in the batarians attack/gang violence. That kind of thing.

yea hope they didn't win. As much as I love playing Shepard they don't deserve it as a character. They should win "biggest walking meme" instead

Huh, in my opinion Shepard took a real nose-dive in terms of intelligence in ME3. Got even worse whenever she was on Earth.

I don't consider 3 canon... So. Yeah. He's still pretty f*ckin' smart in my books. When I get around to it in Duet Effect (not for a few years I think, lol.) I'm writing ME3 closer to the original beta script. There were damn good scenes in there that were cut thanks to executive meddling. And throw in my own. Since in DE I've got two Shepard running, not just one, they'll be more prepared to face the Reapers

It just reminded me of the VGAs last year when Mass Effect 3 had everyone cheering their eyes out because of the excitement for the game. And then they showed us gameplay from Tuchanka:



I got the sense that people were genuinely excited for it and, in terms of VGA coverage, it was a hot topic. It's just sad to see it go from such a high note to such a...not-so-high one, at least in terms of general cheering and crowd praise during the award show.

I'm not saying that I base my opinion on the game on VGA crowd reactions, it's just an interesting observation.
