I had the same questions after watching the trailer, and yes after about a second of thinking on it, I realized these things would hard to get across in a trailer, so I shouldn't jump the gun. Nevertheless, I think this is a question you should be able to see coming miles away, so either answer or don't. There's no point in being rude, except possibly driving off a potential customer.

Awww was they mean to you?  Should we get you a hanky?  With the way people **** about all the hard work they put into this stuff not being good enough I think that was a rather nice post.

I dont see how Devs owe us anything at all - they release what can be said about the expansion "for now", which is alot better than other companies I can think of.

If you dont place any faith in something, you can be pleasantly surprised or not too disappointed ... Dragon age was a nice surprise.

No, and that's the ODD thing, really. I mean, if you are familiar with my posting style, I'm a fairly cruel loudmouth who likes to make fun of the mentally disabled every chance I get. I've never gotten any sh*t from the mods or the devs for my attitude, though. Meanwhile this guy asks an honest (if dumb) question and a Bioware employee apparently has time to stop in and call him a retard. I really just meant it as a constructive criticism... responding to a thread like this the way they did (not David, whoever the first Bioware poster was) just doesn't reflect well on the company.

I'm under the assumption that this is post-ending.

Which sucks for me, I lost Morri and Alistair >< Hopefully we collect companions all over again, then I wouldn't have to play without my main tank and spellcaster.

Dude... way to miss a joke. I pointed out the typo to "find a reason you suck" and said it was a short post to indicate you "should have done more". Maybe it needed a smiley face, I don't know... you were also calling me a crybaby earlier, even though I was saying Bio should be nice to others, not that they were mean to me. I think if you read my posts a little more carefully you'll see we shouldn't even be arguing.

I am. I know I am. However, IF ...and that's a big if..the expansion isn't delayed it's coming out in 2 months. I can't think of a game where a big $30-40 expansion is only out 2 months after its annoucement. Doesn't that mean Bioware has a month or so till it goes gold.

If everyone waits till theres interviews/faqs and theyre in 2 weeks or so...won't the community only have 2 weeks to even voice their issues? A big part of this game is choices,roleplaying,storytelling etc. so I doubt I'm the only one here worried about the how the general  and companion specific stories progress in awakening.

So far, Bioware staff can only talk about what being announced so we can't expect answers today it seems.

However, there is one thing I will ask about somethings thats announced


The one companion whos announced to be returning-  is it one specific person or one from a choice of characters?

The person in the trailer is clearly Oghren, you can see his moustache for a tiny second when he turns a bit too!
I just want to know why him and no letsay...the dog.


You know..adding in the dog would be easier than a new companion. It's model/voices/and lack of dialogue and such will make it easier than a flat out new character.

I hope future Dragon Age games don't give you choices in a story to see how the play out, that way I don't have to listen to people whine and cry. Looks like there is a canonized story line, get over it.
