You're allowed scissors?
Only if they are sufficiently nerfed, you know, no sharp edges, have no screw holding them together. Otherwise you might stab a Phantom with them or something.
Seriously, more bladed CQC weapons in ME4, Biovar, pls.

Can we please have way more effort into balancing the game too, please, BioWare. I just took new pugs (like level 1 Geth Pulse Rifle type of pugs) into Platinum and made it perfectly fine and very easy for us to camp on Giant by the power of just snap freeze alone. Secondary of told them to equip Reegers if they had them (2 of them did). So, I kid not. We did 2 Platinum matches with the pugs getting full extraction bonus too. And all we were doing was detonating my snap freeze. Over and over and over until payday. This right here says how extremely unbalanced & broken this game got left in.
I mean, BioWare redesigned levels to prevent what you guys confirm to be a serious design flaw called "camping." Well is fresh players can still do it with the aid of just one power constantly being detonated, and without issues on the very first two attempts, you've guys seriously failed in fixing this so called very serious issue you guys yourself confirm to be. And I just want to point this out to make sure it's known, so that you guys can make better progress on the multiplayer side of things.
I hope this is also taken as fair criticism and not bashing. Cause the one thing I always obsess over in gaming, is studying game design and balance in every game I play.

Er, how about putting that new frostbite engine to actually make the bumbums jiggle? This way maybe cryo ammo actually would have a purpose?

Quarians are ruined for me since I know what they have in store in their suits. Especially the jiggly part.

6 existing classes, but now with class tiers (eg. Asari adept - commando, adart yakshi, justicar) For instance the justicar would have the sphere, commando stasis bubble, and adart yakshi could have dominate as unique tier power)
So you would first have to unlock asari in adept class, then 3 available tiers. Clicking on the class in the character selection screen, the first thing you'd see is a blank spot with a "+" - clicking on that would bring you to a menu where you would first have to pick available race for that class, then sex, and finally tier provided that you unlocked it/got it in a store.
Every class tier would have one unique power/ability that's only available to that class/tier/race.
I would also like to see a skill system more similar to ME1 but with reasonable cool downs of course.
So to describe this in an example: you just bought the game and let's say for the sake of this argument that you only have humans.
You go to the character menu, select a class...let's say Soldier. Now where you would normally have a line of character cards, you only have a tab with a + and a label "new".
Clicking on the tab you get the list of available characters that you unlocked. For now all the game is offering is a human. Next it asks for sex, select what you want and since you haven't still unlocked anything there's no tier selection. But when you unlock something like "human berserker soldier", you'll be able to pick that as well. Now when you made your selection, click on done and that character appears in the class character list. So this way you could have any number of Asari adepts or any other kit. You can always go to + and make a new character.
So the kits would still be premade but selecting a specific tier will give you one choice and that's the tier unique power/ability.
Also I think they should make all kits have "electronics" as a shield/damage reaction passive tree. (It doesn't evolve to overload, that would still be a separate power). I would also give characters weapon specialization but that's just me.

Just quoting this part, for no particular reason.

I would also like to see alot more melee focused classes or classes that have powers that tie into melee so you can make combo's with them, e.g. The paladin class, shield swipe + incinerate = BOOM! And one thing that never made sense to me was the fact that you split up health and melee so you can only choose one or the other. Since melee classes make you get in close, it doesn't make sense not to have high health. I'd say switch melee to gun tree and move power damage to health tree. Health boost and melee should go hand-in-hand not either or. I would really like to see some kind of monk type class that uses biotic or fire fist combos to do damage. Although I do enjoy playing balanced characters with all powers used in the kit tree instead of just 1 or 2.
Oh and I agree. No auto-target. If you can't aim you can't play newb. lol

* - those were in ME1, ME4 will undoubtedly have shields again, damage reduction perhaps as well as health of course, but obtainable armor sets could have universal stat buffs that are common to every character. I'm just trying to make it simple
So to tie this and the earlier post together somewhat..every character would have electronic (shields/barier), fitness (health/agility), toughness (DR/strength). Those would represent my vision of compromises between the stats. For example- fitness tree would give you choice to go for health or agility - the more health - the more lard

Missions like they are in Warframe, might be nice for example.
Take control on device, to find a places to dig the relics etc, and defend the drills until finished.
This might be fun, despites of games what we playns in ME3.

2) NO ONE BUTTON TO RULE THEM ALL.

Extrac - Warframe.
Meh. Easily farmed and most boring mode, right next to Defense. Survival is more interesting.

Be able to target more areas of the body of enemies. Imagine playing a melee Krogan with Graal+incendiary ammo; shooting burning spikes in the knee caps of an enemy while running forward, then drive the omni blade in their throat.

More customization, not just soldiers in helmets, but actual faces.
Certain species benefit from using their "own" weapons, like krogan would get benefitted from using the striker, asari with the disciple...so on.
Being able to dodge like a Brute or an Atlas rocket, not like right now, if a Brute charges you, you can be 50 feet away around the corner, it'll hit ya.
Being able to map our powers, it sucks when I play the vorcha and switch to GS, and instead of the flamer, I ****** turn the hunter mode off.
Synergy bonus, getting more points for killing enemies, when four of the same species working together as a team, like an asari commando, or salarian STG.

Ship with an editor so players can make their own maps and missions. Every couple of months (or some period of time) add the best player created ones into the official list and allow for normal games and download to consoles. In my opinion that is by far the best and most financially viable way to continue to support the game for a longer period of time.

I dodged under a brooty's clawhammer... ![]()
Also, the problem with species benefiting from their own guns is that a lot of guns will need nerfing if they are very powerful and are associated to most of the available characters. I think it would be best if no one received benefits to avoid complaints. For geth and the collector, it made sense, but that was very limited to characters less than 5.

Has anyone suggested like what Perfect Dark did, where you could put bot teammates in with different "play styles" and skill levels? Also, it would be cool if you could select which enemies spawned or didn't spawn - maybe in some reduced xp/money mode so it wasn't just used as farmcity. Additionally, things like "100 husk survival" would be tons of fun - where you have one wave that continually spawns a certain type of enemy (husks in this example) until you kill 100 of them or simply die. Similar challenges would be fantastic.

No Rockets or at least a no Rocket mode. Cause them rockets break the game.

Posté 24 novembre 2014 - 04:49
Maybe no rockets but a rocket launcher weapon you can equip with very limited total rounds per match -- 3 or 4?
No totally random trolling RNG store
More and larger maps
A few new kinds of objective waves
No sync-killing Krogan Worlards (it just aint right)
More balanced weapons (vs what we have now: a few OP ones and many that, well...suck)
Explosive rounds that are actually worth equipping
No respawns right behind you
More character spec options -- 3 abilities but with more (but still limited) points to spec in different ways (ie, to 7a, b, c)
