I think this might be a glitch but maybe I just missed something...

I chose the wait for help option on the fort drako rescue quest and I cleared the area, got the key, opened the cell door and now they're just standing there... I tried talking to my main character but everytime I do I end up talking to Alistair and he says something about "being in the templars wasn't so bad compared to being in prison." Can someone tell me if this is a glitch or did I just miss something:huh:

glitch i think, try reloading a earlier save.

It seems like a bug, had it happen to me twice. Solution: When you reach the prison room, do not interact with anything except the cell door. At least, that helped me.

yep, it was a glitch. Just for future reference for anyone else it happened because I had Leliana with me and forgot to check the jailor's corpse and went straight to picking the lock. I guess you could say I fell victim to my own competence (to follow that cheesy line Odin jumps up, high fives a random stranger, and it ends in a freeze frame in true 70s style)
