Okay..I just finished Witch hunt earlier because I really wanted to know what happened, but I want to know what these secret gift was that she gave me.

I think most of us were very dissatisfied with Witch Hunt because it doesn't provide any answers whatsoever, and the end boss isn't nearly as dangerous as the Harvester so you don't play it for the challenge either.

The way I did it was put at least 2 points in every level up into strength, and then put the last point into another attribute I found important.

So do you think in Dragon age 3 we will play as the Warden and Morrigans son or see him or hear more about him? I really wish more was told about the "Old God" Son of the warden.

Only DLC i have left to do is Golems and Darkspawn chronicles.

We won't be playing as the Warden in DA3, that much is already know. Nobody really knows what happened to the Warden, but they have said that that story is now considered over.

As for Morrigan, the events of Witch Hunt suggest that she is either very "far away" somehow or dead, because the player can kill her.

Like you, I really want them to continue the story, but don't get your hopes up.

But you can look forward to Golems. Most challenging part of the whole game. If you can beat the end boss on Hard or above, you'll get a neat reward (must start the fight at Hard or more and not change the difficulty).

I have heard that the Golems DLC is challenging. My character from Awakening is level 32 which i import and i am playing on Normal, will it still be super challenging?

Eh... honestly it depends on how well you built your character. The first time I did it I struggled on hard (took me like 10 tries against the harvester, and I had to cheese one of the mass golem fights). The second time I found it easy on nightmare.

WOW. I thought a lot of the difficulty stuff had to do with how you build your character.

Exactly, that and metagaming. When you know what you'll face and prepare beforehand it naturally becomes easier on subsequent playthroughs.

Well there's more than one working strategy. When you figure one out, it's easy. But it's still by far the most challenging thing in DA:O.

I played it first with a fresh character, which is much harder than bringing your own character in. Fresh characters don't have the massive stat bonuses or the best gear, and you can't bring in very many potions. It's too easy to run out, especially against the golems.

In the end, I managed to just kite the Harvester while watching for his special abilities and reacting accordingly. Think I used one potion because I made a mistake. He's very much beatable even with a crappy character as long as you have some ranged damage.

Are Dual Wield Dwarven Warriors good? I have been debating playing a different origin then human, or are Elves good too? Thanks.

Unless you are dead-set on min-maxing, and worry about the starting talent being in line with your desired build, every origin is good for anything you want them to do.

Dwarves are effectively the best warrior class with their innate magic resistance and strength, dex and constitution bonuses. If you're dual wielding a commoner starts with better talents. With all that said, the differences are still pretty small, though if you're trying to be magic immune the extra resistance comes in handy (well it basically saves a rune slot, but still...)

Okay, thanks. This should be fun romancing with a dwarf lol....if only there was a female dwarf companion...hehe

Quick question, If i played as a rouge character and DW I could still use heavy armor and massive armor right? I just have this picture in my head that rouges are all light or medium armor wearing characters.

Yes, you can.

That picture in your head is probably accurate; as far as history goes, hitmans/assassins/ninjas are suppossed to be nimble and swift, and to be able to move without making much noise, which might not be possible in heavier fortress like armors. But DA:O doesn't put any such restriction whatsoever.

Okay. Yeah I know if i was a real life ninja or assassin i would want to have the most comfortable light gear as possible...but for DA:O that is a little different.

The funny thing is that in previous bioware games they put in penalties to stealth checks if you were wearing heavier armour. When they switched away from DnD they apparently chose to ignore that.

Okay this may be a crazy thing to ask but I am horrible when it comes to making names and i want to play as a dwarf (commoner) but cant think of a fitting dwarf name. Any ideas?

Yup.

Durkon from Order of the Stick comics (which are brilliant, by the way: http://www.giantitp....s/oots0001.html)
Thorin from the Hobbit.

Sweet glad I chose it. So the Dwarf Noble story is better then the Human Noble?

If you're calling yourself Thorin, at the very least you're obliged to kill the dragon in the throne room.
