I get the feeling that about 95% of the people on these forums will pre-order once they get the chance. It's easy to be cynical and non-pumped/hyped when the game is still so far away. Come pre-order start, I fairly sure almost everyone here will pre-order. I know I will, but then again I always knew I would unless the franchise was taken in a whole new direction.

I'm going to wait for reviews. Dragon Age 2 was too disappointing. Mass Effect 3 was good, but it had so many flaws that despite my enjoyment I'm still disenchanted with Bioware. I'm on the fence, and not expecting DA:O in any form.

I think 95% is too high. Plus, there's the fact that DAI might be released on next-gen consoles. I'm going to buy a PC, so it'll not affect my decision, but I dn't think that all the console players here will buy a next-gen console, so they'll might wait to buy it.

I'm sitting on the fence. DA3 will be my final answer whether to continue to support BioWare or move on to other RPG developer or just stick to Bethesda's products.  Definitely no preorder from me this time. I will wait for reviews and watch Youtubes for spoilers especially the ending.

And yes, I'm very picky when it comes to RPG compare to other genre. That because I'm so sick and tired of wasting my money on set PC and set railroading linear story featured by 99% of all RPG titles in the market nowadays. I only play those games for 15 minutes the most before dumping them in dustbin.

Hopefully, DA 3 theoretical will be fruitful and well implemented this time. Until then I will wait for further information or clarification before I make my decision.

I will be buying it first day no doubt about it. I loved DA:O that much, that DA3 is still likely to be good. Even DA2, though it was a disappointment compared to DA:O standards really wasn't that bad of a game. That said I buy and play a LOT of games, and there are really few that can compare to the Dragon Age series.

Even DA2, if compared against a dozen different other games released that year was a stellar product.

Bioware games are pretty much the ONLY games that I tend to look forward to even before they're announced. They're also the only games I've ever pre-ordered. And I have yet to be disappointed.
Therefore, I'll pre-order the Collector's Edition as soon as I can. *nod*

Not enough information about the game to make a decision like this, for BioWare has proven they keep changing what they do for their games so you can't base what a game is like on what has been made before.

I think this person wants the option for things like being able to choose that you are elf/human. Even if they were going back to DAO race selection, I highly doubt they would do mixed races.

Bioware really rustled my jimmies with ME3's SP, but I absolutely adore both Dragon Age games, and their DLC campaigns. I recognize that the ME and DA teams are separate entities, so therefore, I will likely be pre ordering the DA3 collector's edition when available.

ME4, however, I will be taking a wait-and-see approach.

I voted that I would buy depending on reviews, but I'd like to specify that I'm talking about fan reviews. DA2 showed that pro reviews can be misleading at best, or bought at worst.

It also depends on whether it's on current gen consoles or not. I don't know if I'll be able to buy a new console, or if I'll be able to switch to PC gaming. That will affect my ability to buy.

Won't preorder. Though more hopeful about the next DA game than the next ME game, I've been burned too much to trust blindly again.

And if multiplayer is indeed coming to DA3, I will definitely wait for a price drop, at least. Possibly get used instead.
