I can change my mind if is a relly good game (but really, really, really good) and if there are some things as half breed backgrounds

Half-breed characters...?

if the main character have to be Human, as it was said, I would like at least that chance, because half breed always look humans...so, it would be just a background thing, and not a aestetically thing.Image IPB no problems with cinematics, models for the bodies, ecc...
English is not my language, so I can have express it in a bad way...I just don't like the Umans in a fantasy game...and in DA they are too powerful/popular. I prefer the lowest races.

I will pre-order as soon as I can since I have enjoyed both games.

I'm posting on the forums 21 months after the release of the most recent DA game.  So yeah pretty safe to say that I"ll be sufficiently curious about DA3 to buy it on day 1.

Undecided.

I wait for reviews, fan reviews and a demo. The demo of DAII saved me a lot of money I would have spent on something I didn't like.

I'm on the pre-order bandwagon... but depending on how DA3 handles the inevitable horror of MP and the new engine, plus the camera, combat system, etc. ... I may well leave the game behind.

The only game I ever pre-ordered was ME3. Never again. I'll wait for extensive fan reviews before I decide or maybe buy it used when it's like 15 bucks. If it's good I'll buy more BW games in the future. If not then it will show that BW has permanently moved away from making games that I like and I'll feel better about moving on than I would have with just 1(DA2) or 2(ME3) games.

I'm excited about DA3 and if they don't announce some ridicules features or suddenly turn the game into a FPS I'll most likely preorder the special edition.

+1

Exactly how I feel.

Same here.

I'll wait and see what the demo is like and if Dragon Age 3 gets good word of mouth reviews before I think about buying it. Not going to pay attention to professional reviews either. Dragon Age 2 and Mass Effect 3 were terrible and got 10 stars or whatever from all the critics.

After ME3, I promised myself I would never pre-order a Bioware game ever again.

Turns out I'm a lying liar who lies.

I'll most likely be pre-ordering unless a string of negative news comes out for me. Only thing I've seen as a major negative so far is race selection. No point ordering it right now as we don't even have bonuses yet.

I don't buy games day one anymore so I will do a wait and see then judge fan reaction and feedback. Still I did enjoy both DA games and have been looking forward to DA3. The only thing other than bad reviews that will keep me from getting DA3 is if the only way we can play the game (on pc) is through Origin. I might consider it on PS3 though not real sure since I am on my 4th PS3 in 3 years.

I am completely undecided.

I was disappointed with Dragon Age II, but still really enjoyed it, I just expected something different as far as the plot was concerned, the character development over a ten year period (I felt the game could have more believably spanned four years), not to mention the mage gameplay (I felt Force Mage was awful (but still stuck with it for one playthrough) and missed abilities from the Entropy tree as well as the Arcane Warrior). Like many, I was crushed by ... Bioware's most recent product ... And on top of that some time ago (a good while ago) I had also cancelled my TOR subscription, simply after hitting max level and being stunted by the end game content (or whatever terminology should be used).

But I am still so excited for Dragon Age III.

People complain about Day 1 DLC but I had preordered the collector's editions of DAO, DA2, ME2 and ME3; and felt that Sebastian and Javik (and Shale? and Zaeed?) were solid investments. What is swaying whether I preorder the game or wait for it to drop in price is going to rest largely on my interpretation of what information is eventually released about the gameplay ... and my interpretation of (much as some hate it) the implementation of multiplayer; as my spouse and I do enjoy playing together.

well dragon age origins is one of my favorite games of all time I love it always have always will
I liked dragon age 2 and unlike mass effect 3 I can enjoy dragon age 2 even though it's not as good as the previous game

I still like dragon age as a franchise so I will buy it but if it's ending makes no sense like mass effect 3 then i'm done no more paying to play the old republic no more bioware for me

I have been loyal for years even with that ending but I can't if the ending does not make sense I NEVER want to go through that again

like my signature says I hate mass effect 3s ending but I love bioware there is a difference

There should be a reluctantly pre-ordering option. Only because DA:O was so good.

Preorder.
Even if the game is not worth 10 replays like Origins did I will consider it a good purchase.
It's not as if I don't spend that amount of money on much more useless things than a game that can keep me entertained for days :)

I'm gobsmacked at the percentage of people who intend to pre-order! It seems as if Bioware can do anything they want and still be confident that enough gullible folk will still be chomping at the bit to give away money for something which they haven't even used.

Seriously, if I were them and I'd seen that poll I'd just toss it off and not worry about the game quality - people will buy it anyway regardless and that number will rise nearer the release and with a bit more hype. No wonder they are happy to churn out sub-par games.

Alternate Theory: People that aren't you actually liked both games (SHOCK!) and figure they'll like the third as well.

You think everything sucks, and you seem incredibly pleased by that fact. I don't understand why, but whatever gets your rocks off pal.

No pre order. I've learned that lesson. I will wait for extensive FAN reviews AND a substantial price drop before I even consider purchasing DA3.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice... Will not happen again.

Nothing like that at all and your post assumes a great deal, I only think DA:2 sucks.

I don't pre-order any games and can't see the point in buying any product before it's even been released and tested. It just seems silly to pay for a product which may not even work properly - something far too common in today's glitch ridden gaming world.

Pre-ordering on the back of ME1 & DA:O is something I can understand people doing as the undoubtably high quality of game would suggest that a sequel of such quality could be likely. However, whether you liked DA:2 or not I think it's generally accepted that it wasn't as good as most were hoping for. You'd think that from that people would be more cautious about paying for a product which could easily be worse.

And like I say, if I was working for a firm and they paid me to do some work before I'd actually done it i wouldn't try half as hard knowing that I'd already been paid. It's just human nature.

I enjoyed DA2 a lot more than I expected from the first few minutes that I tried last year when I bought it (grad school ate up gaming time until recently). I have a few dealbreakers, like an "always online" requirement like with Diablo III, and any sort of required multiplayer will make me pause. But I am otherwise optimistic and am willing to wait and see how things look closer to release. I like seeing BW experiment with some new mechanics in this game, and while the smaller world in DA2 felt restrictive in some ways, I liked seeing them some new storytelling elements using game mechanics (like Varric's shooting gallery).
