I did enjoy both games so I will buy it.

That's exactly what happened with Mass Effect 3.

I like DA:O and DA2 too. But anything's possible after Mass Effect 3.

I've placed my pre-order but will change it to a Collector's Edition if one becomes available.

I for one will be waiting for reviews of what my friends say, rather then any 'official' review. It's due to the fact that nearly every review said ME3 had an ending that fitted the series. Then put in the shambles that was DA2, I am now extremely weary of anything coming out from Bioware. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me... Which is sad to say as I love ALL of their previous work, NWN, BG, DA:O and ME1&2. It'll take quite a bit to impress me, and get me to part with my money.

I will wait for fan reviews. Don't trust review sites after the ME3 incident,

I will preorder and wait anxiously for it. I have some misgivings after the ME crew destroyed ME for me, but I think the DA crew is a lot different so I'm hoping for the best.

I was in awe before DA:O, and I loved DA2, except the reuse of environments, and the new horns on the Qunaries. I'll buy it on day one or preorder if there is something to gaiin buy doing so... I don't like being a bank without interest for a compagny as big as EA. Eager to see the frosbyte engine in action

I'm going to wait for reviews, and I'm leaning against buying. It will have to be something truly impressive to get my money. Anything less than excellent, forget about it.

My vote.

Buy - no pre-order - have never pre-ordered a game so not sure why I would start now.

I'm waiting until I see anything substantial, atleast a bit of gameplay. Odds are though that I'll preorder it.

Going to pre-order a copy for PC once any special/collectors editions are announced. Might get a second copy on a different platform, but it won't be a release day purchase.

From what i've seen/heard so far? Absolutely not....looks like DA2 all over again quite frankly.

Those who played DA2 and are thinking about buying it need to remember just how big of a let down that PoS was.

Your only encouraging them to keep doing it wrong.

Waiting. I pre-ordered DA2, worst mistake of my life. No game has disappointed me as much as DA2 has. DA2 hasn't disenchanted the series for me, as I still love everything about Origins. I just like to think DA2 doesn't exist.

Bioware will have to mess a lot of things up for me to not get this game.... but they will also have to do a lot of things right with the special edition for me to pre-order it....

I'll definitely get the game. Wether I'll preorder it, depends on how attractive the preorder bonuses for the DDE are for me.
I haven't preordered dishonored because the preorder bonuses were pathetic; Now I just sit and wait for a 75% off steam sale, before I'll even buy it... Though that mainly due to my new policy to cut down on games spending, and rely on my backlog of games to keep me entertained; Old me would've bought it on day 1, played fro a couple of weeks and moved on to the next shiny game...
As far as preorder DLC's: I'd actually prefer something cosmetic and/or interesting over something with stats that will quickly become obsolete. Something like the black emporioum would be great. Fancy armour skins for companions would also be nice.

Pre-ordering the hell out of it.

I get the reasons against pre-ordering, but I'm just really not that mad at BioWare. Yeah, DA2 was rushed. Yeah, the ending of ME3 was disappointing (though that was a different team, let us not forget) but even the worst BioWare game is a good game. I still enjoyed both DA2 and ME3, and I have no doubt that I'll have a blast with DA:I.

All of this is just my opinion, of course.

Gonna wait a bit till I know how the game actually is. I played the DA2 demo and thought it was alright so I bought it was a huge mistake lol worst money I've spent on a game and probably roughest forced play through ever.

Hey. I LIKED Dragon Age 2. Of course, it was the first Dragon Age game I played, but I've since learned I like the pair of them. I'll probably preorder, though the way I preorder, I'll decide whether I want to or not 2 days before it comes out. I don't really buy games, except a few cinematic RPGs and a certain monolithic MMO which eats most of my gaming time as a snack.

I'll be waiting to see how it looks a lot closer to go time, too.

(That being said, the one thing that would make me pre-order is Nathaniel Howe confirmed LI/party member because I am weak.)

I have had several discussions with a friend on this matter after the whole ME3 ending issue, but personally I liked both DA games (yes DA2 wasn't up to DAO's standard, but it was still a good story line just had some drops at some points), and to me the DA series still stand among the single best RPG games in my gaming experience (along with Baldur's Gate series and the Witcher series).

So I'll be preordering and must likely buy a special edition version of the games they offer also.

What I am mostly worried about with regards to DAI is just how much inspiration they take from Skyrim. Bioware has been keen in their praise of that game, and while it surely is a great game in many areas story telling was (in my opinion) not one of them considering there is no consequence of anything in that game, also I would hate to go from the great combat in both DAO and DA2 to the more first person based mechanics in Skyrim.

Same here.  Well, I'm not guaranteed to order a Collector's Edition but it's more likely than not that I would do that if the option was there and wasn't too pricey.

Simple for me, I think both Origins and II are fantastic games, therefore I'm really looking forward to 3.

Not buying it till I see the user reviews on metacritic, and even then I'll wait for it to get dumped into the garbage bargain bin.
EA has a habit of bribing every single reviewing channel.

The most obvious (and ludicrous) example of this is this direct quote for DAII:

PC Gamer's Editors choice:
"The best RPG of this decade? Nine more years will tell, but for now, yes."

Replace RPG with turd and it's spot on!
