I will buy it, but I'll buy it used or at a reduced price at some point in the future. I preordered DA2 and ME3. I don't regret playing either of those games, but I have come to realize I simply can't afford paying full price for a game. Particularly one that might fall short of what it is sold as.

I already voted on this poll when it was first made a while back, but my stance has changed.

I'll definitely buy it at some point during that first week it comes out. Really don't care what reviews or BSN says about it. I simply want to play the next Dragon Age game.

I am getting anxious about DA3. But every time I get anxious I slap myself and say "Remember. Remember the let down that was DA2". Imagine how bad I would feel buying DA3 and it being as much or worse of a let down.

Sooo, I will buy it after real reviews and possibly a discount. That's the plan as of right now.

DA:I is Bioware's last chance for me. Depending on what we'll see about the game pre-release I'll either pre-order it or buy it buy it's release. If the game fails, I'll give up on Bioware.

Not buying it till I see the user reviews on metacritic, and even then I'll wait for it to get dumped into the garbage bargain bin.
EA has a habit of bribing every single reviewing channel.

The most obvious (and ludicrous) example of this is this direct quote for DAII:

PC Gamer's Editors choice:
"The best RPG of this decade? Nine more years will tell, but for now, yes."

Replace RPG with turd and it's spot on!

User reviews on metacritic aren't really trustworthy either personally I'm probably gonna wait for an Angry Joe review, seems to be a fairly independant individual who gives games the actual score that they deserve.

Hard to say. Personally I have my reservations about how Bioware is handling the Dragon Age franchise - unlike Mass Effect, where they were bending over backwards to make it as epic a space opera as possible, they seem to be trying to take Dragon Age in as different a direction of DA:O as possible.

I'll probably wait for reviews. Mass Effect 3 was everything I wanted it to be (at least, after Extended Cut) so I know Bioware are capable of delivering, but everything I've heard about DA:I is that its nothing about everything I find interesting in the DA world. I really can't be bothered about the whole Mage/Templar thing. I want to know more about the Darkspawn and the Fade. I want to see where Dragon Age Awakening and DA2: Legacy goes.

There might be a demon portal involved in da:I, so there's the Fade for you.

I could personally care less about the darkspawn, they are the least interesting aspect of Thedas.

To each their own. All I'm saying is that I'm more interested in the background of a swarm of underground creatures that appeared out of thin air that may or may not have something to do with the entirety of the Chantry's religion then listening to DA2 get rehashed for an entire further game. Fine, we get it, mages are persecuted, templars are authoritarian, yeah, it was all DA2 yakked about. Do we really need more of it?

I dunno. Like I said, I'm waiting for reviews.

There was a point when I'd buy a Bioware game simply for the sake of it being a Bioware game. Either through a pre-order or at launch (just to support the dev studio I've come to love)...but with the Mass Effect 3 fiasco and their obstinate view of how to treat customers, Bioware has truly lost my respect and loyalty so that means that I will be waiting for the price to drop sub 20 before I even consider buying anymore Bioware titles.

I for one will be waiting for reviews of what my friends say, rather then any 'official' review. It's due to the fact that nearly every review said ME3 had an ending that fitted the series. Then put in the shambles that was DA2, I am now extremely weary of anything coming out from Bioware. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me... Which is sad to say as I love ALL of their previous work, NWN, BG, DA:O and ME1&2. It'll take quite a bit to impress me, and get me to part with my money.

Except for a few serie, i rarely pre order a game. I would if Dragon Age 2 was not that different from origin and so more if. Also i'm not a fan of what was announced till here like the inquisition part except if it is be very dark and evil. Not fan of Leliana at all except as a bard and great singer. Also about the human protagonist.
I'll wait for review from the shop, i'll not ask my brothers and friends to rush and buy it for sure, i did a few days ago for Origin, i ask them to hardy avoid DA 2 and waiting and see what will come as news for DA 3.

Right now i'm indifferent towards it. I'm going to wait and see on this one. Not going to jump on a preorder until i'm absolutely certain i will enjoy the game or if i just can't find any interest then it's just not going to happen until it drop quite far in price

I've said this before, and I'll say the exact same thing here...

I love dragon age, I think its awesome

However...

I'm not touching this game on release day based on ANYTHING any of the devs or ANYONE involved with da3 says. I don't give a flying **** if Jesus, Buddha, Vishnu and God all come down on Flash Gordon rebel air bikes to the tune of Darth Vader's theme song to tell me how good it is. I will patiently wait until it is out, do some research on it, then decide.

Yep.  DA2 sucked the love I once had for this franchise right out of my body like some demon.  As far as I'm concerned the only thing DA3 has going for it is that it's a SP game w/ a character creator, something that is becoming a rarity in the SP market.

After the EA purchase I had my reservations about continuing quality of BW products, but that was quelled a bit with ME2. I loved the crap out of DA:O and still play it on occasion even today. Though, with the DLC nickel-and-dime-fest that started with DA:O the cracks started appearing.

I knew there was smoke on the horizon when I opened my DA:A box and prominently displayed was an advertisement for DA2, which combined with the early "sneak peeks", C.F. of a demo, and release fallout managed to turn me so thoroughly off the game I still have yet to borrow, buy, rent, or even play it in any way...which is something I do not regret at all. Then...ME3.

So, if I buy DA:I at all, it will be after reading the handful of reviews I still trust and keeping a close eye on community reception. Even then, it'll be a "bargain bin" buy.
