Wierd, so many complain about the Shadow...and I rarely die with her.

Me too. I don't mean to blow my own horn here but I play an awesome shadow. As per the thread the only class I will vote to kick in a PUG is the novaguard. With friends I'm open to the option of kicking when it's a setup we unanimously disagree with. That being said, if I join a silver pug lobby and you have it set to Cerberus Dagger you better blow my f**king mind.

Regardless of char, weapons, or loadout I just assume that everyone of them will go down, none of them will gel, none of them will a rocket, and nobody will do the objective... and play accordingly. ;)

Expect nothing and you wont be disappointed.

Unless somebody has blatantly set himself/herself up for failure (taking ultra-low weapons/gear/mods/stats/etc) into the mission, I'll usually give them a chance. If they screw the mission up or just keep dying I'll usually just let them die and try to finish the mission without them. Then either wait for them to leave the lobby from embarrassment or I'll leave and move to a new group. So in regards to the topic, I'll play with anybody, they just have to know how to play their class.

P.S.  I use the shadow alot.  Only using the ES for oh crap moments or if we need to clear a path for an escort or defend.  Cloak with duration and SS all the way.

I played as a Novaguard the day before yesterday, was doing good killing everything, usually top score then came FBDagger(don't remember enemy) and died a lot, guys must have thought I sucked........ummmm 2 Geth engi and X guy just staying in top circle room, double fame turrets, of course I'm gonna die, you killing mah pylons and blocking my vew with yah flames.......anyway i'm not prejudiced against any class, I cringe with some but no insta-kick, classes i can use effectively:Shadow, Ghost, novaguard, Fury, huntress, Shaman, Paladin, Justicar, Geth trooper, any Quarian, Phoenixes.......

I give everyone and everything a chance. I love everybody so I would never be prejudiced.

Paladin - auto-leave.
3 Harriers in lobby - alt+f4

Outrageous! At least the Harrier hate I can understand. But Paladins? They are awesome!

I still get little tinges of annoyance when I see an OG human vanguard with nothing but a pistol and warp ammo equipped. To me, that just shouts: "Hey look! Enemies across the map! Lemme go say hello- *Squad member needs help!*" but I still play so I can either be pleasantly surprised when they prove they know what they're doing, or so I can laugh as they die miles away from where the rest of the team is while we do the rest of the work.

I don't assume anything.
They'll reveal their playstyle during the match.

Same here. I used to be horribly prejudiced against Vanguards, but I never quit a lobby because of it.

I had a friend (online only) who wouldn't ready up if there was a vanguard in the lobby (before the 20 second timer existed). I unfriended him, because I thought that level of class hatred was nuts, and I couldn't stand how he would try and kick every vanguard who joined. Besides, once you really know what you're doing, vanguards don't interrupt your playstyle nearly as much.

First they kicked the Adepts,
and I voted them out because I wasn't a Adept.

Then they kicked the Drells,
and I voted them out because I wasn't a Drell.

Then they kicked the Shadows,
and I voted them out because I wasn't a Shadow.

Then they kicked my Novaguard,
and there were no more games left to join.

My prejudge comes from math: (Loadout + class) / (N7 Rank + Chalenge points)
Someties I see stuff like an Asari Adept (not justicar) with an Incisor and I go "WTF?". Then I see their N7 Rank and I either assume it's a fairly good player who wants the Sniper banner, or said player is new to the Multiplayer experience and doesn't know how much the Incisor sucks.

Also there are some Pirahna GI's who die 3 times per round or kill everything on sight.

Why the shadow hate? Whenever I see a shadow I switch to paladin. It's insta win! And when I see a geth trooper I often switch to volus adept.

Why the N7 rank hate? I'm only 503 cause I hate promoting my characters. Back when it was in the 300s, I got kicked for it by the 1000+ people. BTW, I've been playing multiplayer since the demo and I'm often top scorer or second without yet owning a harrier. :D

EDIT:  Oh and I'm top 8% on leaderboards for my rank.  Take that. :)

Assuming players will play badly or selfishly based on their class is really weird, doesn't make any sense to me at all..

But.... it actually does make sense. Certain characters lend themselves to certain playstyles, and very few players can pull off said playstyles without compromising themselves or the team.

Novaguard is a perfect example. Off Host Novaguard is an even better example. Said player will be spamming Charge/Nova, and unless he/she is a boss... will likely die in the middle of a mob. This is compounded by many pugs being allergic to medi-gel unless it's extraction wave.

The Shadow is another very similar example.

Not my experience with Novaguards. They are fairly rare but 60-70% have been very good and makes for an extremely fast game if they get support. Admittedly there are also a group of them that fail very, very, badly. Being aggresive is not bad or selfish either. Shadows can be good, bad, indifferent or an electric slash spammer. They have the potential to have very high survivability. No way of knowing until you see them play.

I will admit I am baffled by the number of N7 Slayers rocking sniper rifles and heavy assault rifles out there.

One or two have even played moderately decently, but still, when I see that Slayer with a Widow and the Saber, my first thought is "this person probably isn't going to do too well."
