An idea about the Inquisition....

Like say you could be a follower of the Chantry and work to fight and bring the Templars back under Chantry rule while also trying to bring the mages back under order.
Or you could side with the Templars and try and bring the Chantry under your thumb as you stamp out the mages.
And finally you could side with the mages and the Inquisition could be working to stamp out both the Chantry and Templars to bring about a whole new Order.
Now I know this is a long shot as that would make like three whole dif games. But it is a fun idea to think about. And the title Inquisitor could fit into any of those scenarios quite well.

Only three? That's not a very good idea. I prefer at least 10.JasonPogo wrote...
I was just thinking about this and am now kinda hoping this is the way they go with the Inquisition. As we know after the events of DA2 and the book Asunder The Chantry is split in two and the mages have revolted. I think it would be great if our backround was to pick what of those three we side with.

Ok. Here is fun to me.
You're a demon Inquistador who spit on the Maker's name. You're summoned by the Divine for a heavy price. The abolishment of the Chantry's global political influence and reduce the Chantry's role to just teaching morale value to the population. Your task is to end the conflict between the mages and templars either by force or negotiation. Both mages and templars will surrender their right of freedom and become the property of United Nations of Thedas under your executive order. Refusal to compromise with this term will result with total annihilation. You have billions of immortals, undeads, titans, golems, dragons and demons at your disposal to crush both parties which you will not hesitate to use at your leisure.

I think it's amusing how the title "Dragon age III: Inquisition" is constantly interpreted as the protagonist being an inquisitor.
Is there even such a thing as an Inquisition? As an organisation, I mean. For all I know "Inquisition" is just a concept that is explored in the game's story; it may not even be slightly related to the main goal(s) of the story itself. I think the closest organisation would be the Seekers, but unless any of the developers have given an interview that I have missed, there's nothing to even imply that the protagonist would be part of any such organisation.

The leaked survey is why.
