just wondering if bioware are planning to release the vfxproj files as part of their Single player and core resource source files Project? does anyone have any information on this? itd be really helpful to see how theyve done the VFX as well as for using them as a base to build upon. or did i miss something and are they hidden someplace?

I'll see if I can do that. They slipped my mind earlier, getting the levels and head morphs out was of fairly high importance.

I tried to make some VFX recently. I actually got it all to work and got them to play in my game and everything. Long story short, I don't think I should be looking for work as an effects artist any time soon. It would have been funny if I hadn't spent so much time on it.
So yeah I'd love it if we could get some sample VFX projects.

If Bryan releases a batch of visual basic source code to us, I will be holding you personally responsible! :-p

Would be nice to see how they went about making certain things. For the most part though, just keep playing with the editor and you'll figure things out.
Here's an effect I made recently; using my own textures as well.
If you have questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks a ton for uploading those files. Definitely answers a couple of questions I had; now to tweak my effects with this new knowledge!
