What do you think of Bannerless players joining Gold/Plat at this point?

We`ve had enough time for multiple players to achieve the BoB banner.
I`ve just got dropped in a lobby with 3 bannerless players readied up for a gold game,
and it sure felt differenct compared to lobby filled with 3 players with cool banners.
(Kinda gimme instant feeling of Meh)
There are very very few players who choose not to wear any banner on purpose,
but most of player who don`t show banners simply don`t have them.
I really think at this point,
having absolutely no banner in Gold/Plat just shows that
the player has not spent enough time in Bronze/Silver to be really ready for the upper difficulties.
I know some will say..
I just came back to MP after months and I don`t have banner.
...yeah.. I am not really talking about you here...

Well if you judge a player by their banner; we'll kick you instead.
You are not getting the point.

You can only presume that people with banners/high N7 rank have invested more time in the game, but not that they're more skillful.

Personally I don't care what your banner (or lack of) is.

You simply can not judge a player on banners, N7 or challenge points.

Banners are like titles in Guild Wars. All they do is say that someone sacrificed a hell of a lot of their time (and possibly their social life) to gain one. It doesn't say that they're good. To be honest, I was always wary of people who proudly wore titles in GW, because people who play that much are sometimes not the nicest people to play with. (E-peen and all.)

If you try and kick me because I have only have a couple of banners, which I don't put on. And ignore the fact I'm running around with maxed out rares, mid level URs and mrk V gear and mods then you're daft.
Rather if you have a myriad of banners and lots of low level gear and weapons I think you should stay in silver and bronze. As grinding is not a substitute for playing effectively.

Low N7+low challenge points+no banner = started to play only recently OR plays very rarely.
Any other combination doesn't tell much of anything. The guy/gal may be just too lazy to promote or activate a banner.

Just because they don't use a banner doesn't mean they don't have any, and just because they don't have any doesn't mean they are bad. Maybe they just stick to one or two character/weapon choices, or don't play more than a couple of hours a day. (I've been playing a few hours a day, maybe not every day but most days, since the DLC and I've yet to earn any of the faction banners. Husks/abominations/guardians tend to be quite rare)
Just because a player has a banner doesn't mean they're any good, either it just means they've had the time to grind out the challenges.

I don't need to wear one, and I'm not going to be pressured into completing challenges just for one.

Something to keep in mind: Some players are humble and don't prescribe the e-peen mentality. Some of us choose to not use banners because we don't want to stand out. This may be a European vs. American mindset, but keep in mind, not everyone likes waving a giant flag to draw attention to their e-peen.
Sound like some people`s Epeen is about how humble they can be online.

I don`t kick anyone for not having banner or having certain banner.
I probably kick less than 2 people each month regardless of game I play.

many of you are just saying "Oh Banner don`t matter how you perform in the game"
Yes, everybody knows that.
I am talking about players who don`t choose not to wear banner, but simply having no banner due to the lack of experience/time spent.
Which is completely fine, except that they are trying to play Gold/Plat.
Actually, this is fine too because I don`t care that much how one performs in the game.
but many bannerless players end up doing bad in Gold/Plat game.
I am not going to dicriminate them for it, but it will tell me I should gear up before the game starts even if they have fairly good equipments..
(because you had 2 months to get banner)
