I just really don't care because there have been times where I would go into sp to do some stuff, then come back to multi just to have my banner get removed and I would keep forgetting that it would happen so then I would be bannerless for a while until I would remember to put it on.

who freakin cares if someone has a banner or not. or CP for that matter. banners, CP, and N7 rating dont mean s***. all it means is that u play alot of MP. IT doesnt mean ur actually good. ive been in lobbies with people who claim to "ELITISTS" with N7 ranks over 10,000, and CP around the same. they were absolutely garbage players. my rank is 5400 and i outscored these people by 30,000 points. and i am by no means the best player in the world. im average at most. my point is dnt judge people by rank, CP or whether they have a stupid banner or not.

Banners(and challenge) are basicly like N7....having them is an indication of experiance.   Which usually(but not alway) means a better player.

If you play enough, you'll tend to pick up some of the banners naturally. (The enemy ones, squad elite and specter mastery...all the others you won't get unless you play a variety of stuff.  The Maps banner also, but if you hate some maps, you may not get that one.


Banners, like CP and N7 just measure experience.  And in all the cases, lack of them doesn't indicate a lack of experience even. 

This isn't a new argument.

BW refuses to show what would probably be the most indicatve stat of player performance anyway.

Ping times.

easy killer... I gotta say while I won't kick for 'no' banner, certain banners do garner more respect when I see them.

Mmm... no. I'll take a look at their loadout if I smell a rat. I don't kick based on banners. (except for Lone Wolf. the jury's still out on that one)

Besides, you can disable the banners entirely, or sometimes the game does it for you. It's happened to me before, and you can't put one on if you notice it's missing while in a lobby. So you never know.

Banners are big jokes and proves nothing but retards willingness to grind for something that proves nothing other than the willingness to grind. Even if i put on a banner by mistake i would be embarrased. There is no challange in them, since you cannot fail.
The uncoolness of the banners are extreeme in my eyes.

I really try my best to not care about if somebody has set up his banner or not. Yet I end up like OP, having doubts if they are really up for the challenge.

When it comes to which banner to use, I just picked what I found most appealing to me.

They're either new to MP, new to the game since the banners were introduced, or simply havn't gotten a banner yet.

If it wasn't for the hallowen events and those similar, I still wouldn't have a banner, since I don't play every day nor actively hunt after a banner. I just play with whatever I feel like a few times a week.

destroyed everyone else on my team, now i am one of the people with higher of those gold score counter things (challenge points i think), and i don't even actively try to do challenges lol

In the first days/1-2 weeks i hardly ever meet a ppl who had any banner. but now, im surprised when someone dont have any. but that doesnt matter anything. not the banner define the players skill. nomad maybe, because of the number of gold matches, but i saw a few nomads who was bad.

i dont think anything of them, just like i dont think anything of players with banners...having/not having one up is a choice, that doesnt bother me either way.....personally, i dont have a banner up cause i like the clean look...
