Technically, any possible assortment of promotional ranks is exactly as likely as any other, given the same number of ranks. My Crusader X still makes me feel special.

I'm pretty lucky to have a valiant 8. I had 2 upgrades in that one week victory packs gave promo weapons, and before this crappy weekend op gave me a valkyrie, I had 2 valiants in a row.

If only ps3 had weekend OPs since the beginning...

It's clear that promotional weapons don't drop with uniform frequency for a single player. There is something called a "goodness-of-fit" hypothesis test. The math the is straightforward. You can look it up on Google and do t for yourself. http://en.wikipedia....Goodness_of_fit


In my case, my distribution of Ultra-rare and promotional guns fails the goodness-of-fit assuming a uniform frequency. The staggered release of the promotional and UR guns might account for the failure in my case. I've been playing since day one.

The distribution should not be normal (bell curve), the assumption is a uniform distribution.  The goodness-of-fit test compensates for sample size.
