I don't understand, sure it's powerful but isn't the single shot kind of crippling when you're often fighting large groups of enemies?

Not when you can reload cancel. Also, AP Ammo can tear through a whole crowd if they're lined up.

Just curious, is there a 'best' way to reload cancel? I just tap the mighty do-all button (take cover, evade, revive, etc), but if there's a better way I'd love to know it. I've seen some people use light melee, but it just takes too long.

It works well if you hit down on the d-pad if you're on console, or whatever keybinding you have it for on PC.

In addition to the Claymore having brutal damage and good range, it also has great sound/feel. It feels like a manly man shotgun...

Medigel Key. If you are on PC, remap medigel to E. When you hear the click on the Claymore, press E and fire at the same time.

if ur not using ur claymore, OP, I'll gladly take it form you. I'll strap the claymore on my claymore so I can have more claymore while I claymore things.

Read the above posts.

Press down on your D-pad  (attempt to use a Medi-gel, whichever htat one is) the moment during your reload animation where the burning clip is ejected and your ammo counter-replenishes - it's right after the first time your character 'slaps' the weapon.

2. Throw all grenades
3. Use grenade button as reload cancel button

Anyway, so I've concluded the key to Claymore-ing is reload cancelling.
...Which I don't think I can do at all. I don't have the mad sk33lz (awful timing).  Looks like the Claymore isn't for me.

Claymore is kinda easy when you have a lot practics. It was hard for me at the beginning, now i do reload cancel without sound or looking at animation. Just timing reflex.

As you've read OP, it's because of reload cancelling WHICH IS NOT A GLITCH
