IIRC talon has ridiculous spread. Crusader can literally headshot enemies from across any map. Not to mention a natural .5 penetration.

Do you mostly play casters? The cooldown doesn't really matter much for weapon-based builds.

Not to mention 0.005% the damage of a claymore.

Claymore: Awesome firepower, stops enemies dead, can be modded for sniper like range
Wraith: Claymore's little brother, awesome firepower, two shot clip, mods enough to get some decent long range
Crusader: Awesome firepower, if you aren't careful you can over mod accuracy to be TOO accurate. ((I'm not kidding either))
Eviscerator: Decent firepower, mods well for range, decent clip size
Reegar Carbine: Basically an ARC style flamethrower, burns through ammo but eats shields like nothing
Disciple: Lightweight, good for vanguards that like biotics more then weapons, terrible if you plan to use only your gun.
Piranha: Used to be a shotgun god until the weapon was nerfed
Geth Plasma: Amazing long range capabilities, hits HARD if used with Geth Infiltrator
I use shotguns almost exclusively. I know what I'm talking about, however if someone spots an error in my judgement please let me know. With Mass Effect 3 and space magic you always learn new things.
EDIT: Also the Talon while a pistol is technically a shotgun. I have never used mine so I don't know much about it.

use one of your powers. With infiltrators, HS or Tursol use the Y button. The A button+direction works well for kits that cannot dodge.Josh3598 wrote...
Has anyone got any advice on reload cancelling for consoles then?
Pretty please?
HELP THIS CONSOLE PEASANT EMBRACE THE CLAYMORE.

Forgot to mention Wraith is reasonably lightweight for the dmg it does.
Also, you gotta use Talon, you're missing out 0-o

Since this forum has a strange obsession with DPS, I'll point out that the Crusader I has a higher DPS than the Claymore X.

You are correct. I did forget to mention lightwieght for the wraith. I was planning on testing the Talon out today actually.

Piranha is still a great weapon... The best anti-boss shotgun in my opinion. Even with the reduced clip size it eats through big guys like nothing.
Also, I definitely prefer raider/piranha/claymore on a GI to a GPS. It's great, but GPS can be weirdly unreliable when playing off-host... Then again, the stagger makes it an anti-phantom weapon like no other.

I KNEW I FORGOT A GUN! The Raider is definatly one of my favorites. Though it is best used with a Destroyer or a Krogan in my opinion. It just doesn't have the range.

Maybe... If you are shooting the claymore at the enemies feet (even then...), and miraculously hitting the enemies head with all 4 shots of the crusader

Headshots with the crusader are easier then you'd think

Educate yourself
With reload cancelling, the Claymore X manages to beat out the Crusader I, but still loses when the Crusader has a few more upgrades (something which should not be too rare this late in the game).

That's why DPS, or any stat for that matter, is completely useless.
