Don't let it get to you. To resolve all stress from any unsporting/griefing players, I just say, "F*ck it".
The F*ck It way is foolproof to get rid of all stress obtained from such players. Has done me wonders back in my COD days,

I've met them. I just quit. If it's something like a mike that can't be turned off, I just deal with it.

Good philosophy. Fortunately, griefers are few and far between on PC. Met my fair share of leechers though.

Nah, not terribly stressed. I was trying to figure out a way to out the guy, while working within the ToS.cgtrfghj7 wrote...

He's outed himself. He saved me the trouble. I'm stress free now. While unexpected, the goal of this thread was achieved in the best way that I could've imagined, thanks to the person in question giving his side of the story.

Had a Gold match about an hour ago (PC). Picked up a pug. This tool seemed to take offense that one of the other players had their mic set to "always on", with phrases like "effing moron" and so on. He then proceeded to run to the nearest enemy, and die. Start of Wave 3, had zero points. Wave 3 was a pizza delivery mission. Sadly, this guy, playing a TGI, happened to be near it. He then picked it up an hid in a corner of the map, spamming stim packs where necessary to stay alive to keep the delivery from occurring.
Basically he was doing all he could to be a tool.
I have a video of said actions, but would it be against ToS to post a link to said video here as part of the "no naming and shaming" policy? Seems a bit of a grey area to me.
Anyway, feel free to share your experiences of jerk players, basically those who try to make the game fail.
Oh, and Bioware, this is why we need an in-game kick function.
haha, that was me. Funny you guys left when i picked up the object, and we had another 2 or so minutes to cap it. I stayed on and finished the map with some decent players who knew how to use voice without mouthbreathing and making funny excited noises everytime they died, whcih was quite often. You also didnt mention that one of you guys was playing a loop of nyancat in the background, and that the mouthbreather was level 8 with a terribad weapon. I was willing to play along, but the mouthbreathing was just too much.. sorry![]()
Oh, and you must have been the mouthy guy that was calling me all those hilarious names, but of course, being an unsporting jerk, i did deserve what i got didnt i? you left, mouthbreather left and the nyancat guy left.. big deal.

I detonate Possessed Abominations near teammates whenever I know I can revive then afterwards (and I always revive them). Does that make me a jerk?
lol everyone does that, but not everyone does it on purpose

You can probably answer that better than any of us, since you know your own mindset. I think we all do what you describe from time to time, depending on the circumstances. Sometimes it's better to detonate it an kill one person, than to let it get close enough to kill 3 or more.theillusiveman11 wrote...

Oh, and I figure it's not against the T&C's to post a video of the offense, given that no one's being explicitly outed here as they've already outed themselves.
Here's the video in question. I only started recording at the start of Wave 3, and I missed all the swearing and cursing by the griefer at the start. The griefer never actually asked, it was more a string of expletives directed at the always-on mic guy, for which English is not his first language, so he didn't understand what the griefer's problem was.
Warning: there is some minor bad language by the always-on mic guy after he gets taken down a couple of times. Keep in mind that we had carried the griefer through two waves already, so the team was clearly not as "bad" as the griefer makes out in this thread. This video also makes it clear that the guy with the always on mic wasn't really making much noise at all, until he spoke, which is the purpose of mics anyway. My in-game comments are not captured, as I was running an older version of MSI Afterburner, which doesn't capture the local microphone input.
The video also proves that at the time that the host quit, there was just 1:24 on the clock, with the griefer still having not moved from his spot opposite on the map to the LZ, and there was still a second package to retrieve. ie. it was never going to happen as the griefer claims in this thread, and there was not "2 minutes left" like the griefer claims.
All I'm doing is providing video evidence of what occurred, nothing more.

So, this is what you've got? - you being a a big meanie, swearing and organising everyone to lure/kite the mobs to the poor turian? lol - dude, show the rest of it. You didnt show the first three waves. I just watched all of it and you've deliberatly perhaps? ommited your own austrailian accent from the video.
If you pay for fraps instead of using a pirated version you can record your own voice as well as ingame voice

Tier 3, but yeah, good idea. Done. I wouldn't have bothered, but griefer seems to be proud of himself as per this thread, so yeah. Whatever. It's for BW to deal with now.
